I've pretty well concluded that if I want to do anything more with the INTERVIEWS line of short stories, like expanding and compiling then, they'll need to get renamed. The original naming convention just happened, and I honestly never examined it until I came back to think about these recently.

At one level, renaming is easy - each one gets a name based on who is being interviewed.

INTERVIEWS. 1. Anthem Lass

INTERVIEWS. 2. Scrap-Iron

INTERVIEWS. 3. Kilroy

INTERVIEWS. 4. The Tyrant

INTERVIEWS. 5. Sleepwalker

INTERVIEWS. 6. Sudden-Oven man

INTERVIEWS. 7. Wyrm

That's certainly better than 1.1, 1.2, and so on.

I think the entire series needs a catchy name to, though. Something that brings them all together, and gives some suggest what they are. I haven't come up with anything I'm happy with yet. Everything I've got right now is like "The Under the Mask Interviews" or "Interviews: The Supers Series." They feel forced, which is exactly what I want to avoid in a product line or category title.

There are also temptations to add dates to the names. Something like "INTERVIEWS. 1. Anthem Lass. 3-19-2019." There are pros and cons to that. The pro is it helps set the interviews in a given time, with all the context that brings. The cons are numerous -- I'd need to keep track of a timeline, if I ever wanted to stick an interview in the middle of others chronologically it might not make sense from the meta-story POV, and linking to a specific time and its context can often make things dated pretty quickly.

None of these are decisions I have to make right now. But I often chew on them whenever I am working on INTERVIEWS 1.8, or thinking of potential expansion plans.
