Following in the footsteps of last week's Horrifically Overpowered Fighter Class Features (which covers why I still do Horrifically Overpowered products and articles, and gives the Horrifically Overpowered feat to access these class features), now I present Horrifically Overpowered Barbarian Class Features.

Paying members of this Patreon also have access to an Index of Horrifically Overpowered Content, which I will update every time a new Horrifically Overpowered products or article goes up.

Horrifically Overpowered Barbarian Class Features

These apply to both the barbarian and the Unchained barbarian unless noted otherwise.

Horrifically Overpowered Barbarian Class Skills (Horrifically Overpowered): When you rage, you can take 10 with those barbarian skills you are allowed to us while raging. However, if you have more ranks in such skills than your barbarian class level, you take a penalty to such take 10 checks equal to the amount your skill ranks exceed your barbarian class level.

Horrifically Overpowered Barbarian Weapon and Armor Proficiency (Horrifically Overpowered): When raging, you add your class level to the hardness of simple and martial weapons you wield. Additionally, when raging, you do not take any movement reduction or armor check penalty from light armor, medium armor, or shields (except tower shields).

Horrifically Overpowered Fast Movement (Horrifically Overpowered): When raging, you ignore additional movement costs from difficult terrain. You also add 10 feet to your climb and swim speeds. (If these are 0, you cain a climb speed of 10, and a swim speed of 10).

Horrifically Overpowered Rage (Horrifically Overpowered): When your rage ends, just before you lose the bonuses of the rage, you heal a number of hit points equal to 2 x your class level. (Unchained Barbarian only: You do not receive this healing any time you enter rage but do not receive your temporary hit points -- see the unchained barbarian's standard tireless rage class feature).

Horrifically Overpowered Rage Power (Horrifically Overpowered): Upon reaching 4th level, and every two levels thereafter (4th, 6th, and so on), you can choose to learn a new rage power in place of a rage power you have already learned. In effect, you loses the rage power in exchange for the new one. The old rage power cannot be one that was used as a prerequisite for another rage power, a feat, prestige class, or other ability. You can only change one rage power at any given level and must choose whether or not to swap the rage power at the time you gain a new rage power for the level.

As a free action when you enter a rage, you can choose to learn a new rage power in place of the most recent rage power you have already learned. In effect, you lose the rage power in exchange for the new one. You can change only the most recent rage power gained, and must meet the prerequisites for the newly selected rage power. You can change your most recent rage power a number of times per day equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum 1).

Horrifically Overpowered Uncanny Dodge (Horrifically Overpowered): You also gain evasion, when functions in no armor, light armor, or medium armor. If you already have evasion, you gain improved evasion instead.

Horrifically Overpowered Danger Sense (Horrifically Overpowered): Whenever you are about to activate a trap, you receive an immediate Perception skill check to notice the trap prior to setting it off. Assuming it is possible for you to not take the action that sets off the trap you may choose to abandon that action, which is lost. The Perception check should be made in secret by the GM.

Horrifically Overpowered Improved Uncanny Dodge (Horrifically Overpowered): You also gain improved evasion, when functions in no armor, light armor, or medium armor. If you already have improved uncanny dodge, you gain a +1 Dodge bonus to AC, instead. If you already have improved evasion, you gain a +1 Dodge bonus to AC, instead.

Horrifically Overpowered Damage Reduction (Horrifically Overpowered): When raging, your damage reduction value doubles and becomes hardness. Subtract your hardness value from damage prior to any energy resistance or DR from another source.

Horrifically Overpowered Greater Rage (Horrifically Overpowered): The healing you receive at the end of a rage is now a number of hit points equal to 3 x your class level.

Horrifically Overpowered Indomitable Will (Horrifically Overpowered): When raging, you are also immune to compulsion effects.

Horrifically Overpowered Tireless Rage (Horrifically Overpowered): You add your class level to any ability check, skill check, or saving throw to avoid becoming tired or exhausted.

Horrifically Overpowered Mighty Rage (Horrifically Overpowered): The healing you receive at the end of a rage is now a number of hit points equal to 4 x your class level.

MY NEXT CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN

I had to shuffle some things to make sure I didn't bite off more than I could chew. So, Trump Card will launch Jan 20th.

Because nothing else worthwhile is happening that day.
