I am slowly opening myself back up to freelancer work and pan to continue working on small projects, overdue subscriptions, and this blog. Those things keep the lights on, but I also need a big project to try to get ahead on things. Right now, I only have focus and energy for ONE big project of my own. With luck as I continue to recover from cancer and radiation I'll get back to being able to juggle 12 projects at once, but that ain't now.

So, which ONE and ONLY ONE of the following projects excites you the most? (And if NONE do, that's fair, let me know.)

Dungeonfinder - Fantasy adventure rules, classes, equipment and so on using the Starfinder 1st ed game engine.

Mythic Stars - Mythic rules for Starfinder 1st ed.

Pathfinder Spell Compendium - Every single official Pathfinder spell, compiled into three books (for arcane, divine, and occult spells)

Revised Pathfinder 1st Ed Core Rulebook - Cleaned up and streamlined for sure, with some changes to fix known play issues, but still compatible with past adventures, spells, and so on.

Talented Pathfinder - Doing "talented" pick-your-abilities versions of all the core (and hopefully base) classes of Pathfinder 1st ed, in the vein of The Genius Guide to the Talented Fighter and its many follow-ups for other classes.

Shadowfinder - modern urban fantasy core rules and setting compatible with SF 1st ed.

Revised Starfinder 1st ed: Like it says on the tin.

Starfarer's Companion II - Sequel to the massively popular Starfarer's Companion, bringing even more options, many drawn from Pathfinder 1st ed sources.

Revised Pathfinder 1st Ed Core Rulebook and Talented Pathfinder are my two picks. Always felt a Pathfinder 1.5 was necessary, and I've had so much fun with the RGG Talented supplements. I like piecemeal builds that let you customize. I tend to stick to point based game systems like BESM for that very reason.

Ben Trieschmann

Revised Pathfinder 1st Ed and ShadowFinder.

Ecaeka Ecaicio

Shadowfinder then Mythic Stars. Then anything Starfinder after that.

Raphael Bressel

Revised Pathfinder 1st Ed Core Rulebook if I can only choose one, but many of the others are also extremely tempting.

DragoDorn

Talented if I had to pick one. I am interested in Revised 1st edition almost as as much and everything else I would also check out.

Jason Schneiderman

Does it mean more when I post it here? Shadowfinder.

David Chart

If I have to pick one, which is hard, then it would be PF1ER. My top three (which are a clear top three) have all been mentioned more than once in previous comments, though.

Andrew Jarzyniecki

Talented PF = 1st vote, Revised PF1e Core = 2nd vote... meaning I'd support both but would prefer the Talented classes.

Mike Ferdinando

My vote is for whichever one gives you the most joy in design!

Crystal Frasier

I’d vote for whichever is going to be the most fulfilling and least stressful for you. You can always do a second project after

Adventurer

Gonna cast my vote for the revised CRB. It seems like it'd be the easiest of the options to do, since it's primarily a revision of existing content rather than something completely new. Plus, I'm super excited to see what common and/or popular house rules and fixes get integrated into the book, if any.

I adore my Eldritch Chess rules, but I dunno that this is the time to double down on boardgames. :P

VK Flinder

I feel like you know my answer already. Those Talented Classes are an amazing resource for players and umpires alike. Does "hopefully base" include "hopefully hybrids" as well?

Owen K.C. Stephens

Yes... but they'd likely be after base classes. Although some features might show up as talents or edges for the parent classes. I could see a lot of warpriest things as options for clerics, and then later having rules for a character to pick up classes and edges from two difference core or base classes. It would depend on how big that project got.
