Horrifically Overpowered Class Features for Pathfinder 1e Base Classes - The Psychic (Paid Patreon Exclusive) (Patreon)
Content
Here's this week's paying-member-exclusive Thursday post of Horrifically Overpowered Class Features for the Hybrid and Occult character classes of Pathfinder 1st edition. This goes along with the paying-member-exclusive Index of Horrifically Overpowered Content, which I will update every time a new Horrifically Overpowered product or article goes up. The index also has the Horrifically Overpowered Feat I suggest using to allow characters to access these HO class features.
Today we do the H.O Psychic, an occult full spellcaster with options to manipulate spells using a "phrenic pool."
Horrifically Overpowered Psychic Class Features
You access these class features with the Horrifically Overpowered Class Feature feat (see the Fighter article, or Index).

Horrifically Overpowered Psychic Class Skills (Horrifically Overpowered): You add your Wisdom bonus and Charisma bonus (minimum +0 in each case) to your skill points gained each time you gain a psychic level. When you take 10 or take 20 in a psychic class skill, you may use your Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisa bonus for the skill rather than its normal associated ability score modifier.
Additionally, you can make Knowledge checks to learn about persons, places, and things without seeing or examining them. To do so you must have access to something with a link to the subject you wish to make a check about. This may be something it recently touched, a piece of it, or even a visual representation of it.
Horrifically Overpowered Psychic Weapons and Armor Proficiency (Horrifically Overpowered): You can use simple weapons telekinetically. This allows you to wield the weapon without using your own hands, and increases the threat range of simple melee weapons by 5 feet, and the range increment of simple ranged weapons by +50%. If you wield a weapon in this manner, you may use your Wisdom or Charisma bonus for attack rolls and damage rolls (replacing Strength or Dexterity modifiers when those ability scores would normally add to the attack or damage) and your ranged attacks with them do not provoke attacks of opportunity.
You can wield shields telekinetically, without using a hand to do so. You are proficient with all shields wielded in this way, including tower shields.
Horrifically Overpowered Phrenic Pool (Horrifically Overpowered): You add your Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisa bonuses (minimum +0 in each case) to the number of points in your phrenic pool. You regain 1 point expended from your phrenic pool for each our your meditate. When you take Hit Point damage, ability damage, or ability drain, you may have it reduce the size of your phrenic pool, rather than hp or an ability score. Points from your phrenic pool lost this way can be restored the same way the original statistic targeted by the damage or drain can be restored.
Horrifically Overpowered Phrenic Amplifications (Horrifically Overpowered): You can add one more phrenic amplification to a linked spell than usual. You learn an additional phrenic amplification at 5th level and every 4 levels thereafter.
Horrifically Overpowered Psychic Discipline (Horrifically Overpowered): You gain a second psychic discipline. At 9th level you gain a third psychic discipline, and at 17th level you gain a fourth psychic discipline. When determining the save DC of psychic spells and discipline abilities, you add the appropriate ability modifier for each psychic discipline you have. For example, if you have two psychic disciplines, the save DC for their abilities is 10 + 1/2 your psychic level + your Int modifier + your Int modifier a second time.
Horrifically Overpowered Detect Thoughts (Horrifically Overpowered): Detect thoughts is always a quickened spell or spell-like ability for you. The save DC of any detect thoughts you cast is 5 higher than usual. If you wish, you can force creatures to have to make a Perception check to realize you have cast detect thoughts, with a skill DC of 10 + your Intelligence score (not modifier) + your psychic class level.
Horrifically Overpowered Major Amplifications (Horrifically Overpowered): Each time you select a major amplification, you also gain a normal phrenic amplification.
Horrifically Overpowered Telepathy (Horrifically Overpowered): The range of your telepathy is line of sight, including being able to use it on creatures you scry on, even if they are on other planes. When you are in telepathic contact with a creature, you can target it with any spell or spell-like ability with a range of touch or greater.
Horrifically Overpowered Remade Self (Horrifically Overpowered): You gain all the spells listed in this ability, rather than just one.
