Horrifically Overpowered Class Features for Pathfinder 1e - The Vigilante (Patreon)
Content
Back in January, I began this series with the intent to create Horrifically Overpowered class features for every official Pathfinder 1e core, base, and hybrid classes. I began with the Fighter. The hybrid classes were exclusive articles for paying patrons. And now, I'm really close to being done with Horrifically Overpowered class features for all the Core classes of Pathfinder 1e, and their Unchained variants.
Paying members of this Patreon also get access to the Index of Horrifically Overpowered Content, which I will update every time a new Horrifically Overpowered products or article goes up, be that for Pathfinder 1e, Starfinder 1e, or any other system.
Now ALL that's left for official Pathfinder 1e classes are things that never appeared in a hardback book. These were classes, the omura, and the vampire hunter, designed for different settings that every other official class.
But I'll do them. You all asked me to... so I'll do them...
("Hear the tale, as your jaws go slack, of the bloody vengeance, of Nightfire Jack." Vigilantes, especially Horrifically Overpowered ones, don't have to model themselves after the Scarlet Pimpernel or Batman. Art by warmtail.)
Horrifically Overpowered Vigilante Class Skills (Horrifically Overpowered): You gain an additional 4 skill points per class level. Two of the bonus skill points gained at each level only apply when you are in your social identity, and 2 only apply in your vigilante identity. You also select 2 additional skills to treat as class skills in your social identity, and 2 to to treat as class skills in your vigilante identity.
Horrifically Overpowered Vigilante Weapon and Armor Proficiencies (Horrifically Overpowered): You gain A bonus equal to 1 +1/5 your class level to your armor class and saving throws in your social identity, and to attack and hp damage in your vigilante identity.
Horrifically Overpowered Dual Identity (Horrifically Overpowered): You can change identities once per round as a free action. Your two identities can have alignments as far apart as you choose. If something changes your alignment, it only changes the alignment for the identity you were in when it affected you. If someone scrys on your vigilante identity while you are in it, you become immediately aware that you are being scryed on (though you do not know how or by whom).
Horrifically Overpowered Seamless Guise (Horrifically Overpowered): Nothing, not even divine intervention or the wish spell, can cause anyone to realize your social and vigilante identities are both you (even if you change back and forth right in front of them) unless you wish for them to.
Horrifically Overpowered Social Talent (Horrifically Overpowered): You gain an additional social talent at 2nd level, and every 2 levels thereafter. At 5th level, and every 4 levels thereafter, you may swap a social talent you have for a new one, as long as the original social talent was not used as a prerequisite for anything.
Horrifically Overpowered Vigilante Specialization (Horrifically Overpowered): You gain both the avenger and stalker vigilante specializations. You may select one vigilante archetype. You gain its advantages, without giving up any of the things is normally weakened or sacrificed.
Horrifically Overpowered Vigilante Talent (Horrifically Overpowered): You gain an additional vigilante talent at 3rd level, and every 2 levels thereafter. At 6th level, and every 4 levels thereafter, you may swap a vigilante talent you have for a new one, as long as the original vigilante talent was not used as a prerequisite for anything.
Horrifically Overpowered Unshakable (Horrifically Overpowered): You cannot be demoralized with any skill check (including Intimidate), and are immune to the shaken condition. Your level of fear does not increase through stacking of fear effects. If a creature attempts to demoralize you with a fear effect and fails, it must make a Will save (DC 10 +1/2 your Vigilante level + your highest ability score modifier) or be demoralized (as if you had used Intimidate) for 1d4 rounds.
Horrifically Overpowered Startling Appearance (Horrifically Overpowered): The first attack each round you make against a foe affected by your startling appearance gains 1 sneak attack die per 2 class levels and the debilitating injury ability as if your Vigilante level was your Unchained Rogue level.
A creature you affect with startling appearance is only immune to it for 1 minute.
Horrifically Overpowered Stunning Appearance (Horrifically Overpowered): The save DC of this ability increased by +4. A creature you affect with stunning appearance is only immune to it for 1 minute. If a creature is immune to being stunned, it is instead staggered.
Horrifically Overpowered Vigilante Strike (Horrifically Overpowered): The first attack you make each round gains each of the three different benefits of vigilante strike. This stacks with an actual vigilante strike you take 1 or more rounds to prepare.
