Story Snacks: The Stripper Name "Cold Gravy" (Patreon)

Story Snacks are super-short Storytime entries, which I have often shared with just a few people, and thus add here so all my Patrons can enjoy them.

Once, when I was a guest at a very small con, they took me to a place that they assured me had the very best boneless chicken wings.

It also had slot machines.

In order to have slot machines it had to be a bar or a strip club... officially.

So, in the back, visible from only two tables, was a tiny stage and pole for strippers.

The strippers were paid an hour wage and did not expect tips. Paying them allowed the place to have a license for their slot machines, which more than made up for the salaries.

They did get announced, however. While I was there, the two strippers were "Turkey Thighs," and "Cold Gravy."

As tempted as I was to go see them, the locals recommended against it.

The boneless wings, however, were really good.
