Here's a quick set of weird ideas for magic/fantasy weapons for typical magic-inclusive ttRPGs. They're system-agnostic concepts, rather than full magic items for any one game. Also, since swords tend to get all the glory, none of these are swords.

CW: Dentistry/tooth stuff. Also, some puns.

B.O.L.O.s: These bolos have eyeballs painted on the weights. When you hit and entangle a foe with them, you can change your visual point of view to be that of that foe, until the foe escapes.

Beakaxe: The head of this axe looks like the profile of a bird's head. Each time it hits a foe it tears at their raiments and/or feathers, making them harder to identify if they depend on heraldry or costuming, and reducing their fly rate if they fly due to wings.

Doppledagger: Each combat, the first time you damage a foe with this dagger, the allies of that foe can't distinguish between you and the foe you damaged. Half the time it makes you look like the foe, and half the time it makes the foe look like you. You look normal to anyone else, including yourself, and don't know which way it blended your appearances except by observing how your foe's allies react. Lasts for 10 minutes.

Flintlock and Key: Apparently a typical flintlock, its bullets can be carefully fired into locks. The bullets reshape to fit the lock and spin, unlocking it. They also then fall out, leaving an impression of the cuts and biting needed to make a key that works on the lock.

Greatest Overloud Armor Tassets: These plates of upper thigh armor have goat-heads engraved on them. When a foe grapples or tries to overrun you, the goat-heads scream with startling, shocking, deafening loudness.

Kudzu-Net: This net of vines begins growing when it entangles a foe, repairing itself from cuts, trying to anchor them in place, and seeking to entangle anyone who comes to their aid.

Personal Trebuchet: Mounted on a single ridiculously oversized pauldron, this 2-foot tall trebuchet arms and loads itself, acting as a sling, thrown rock, bow, or crossbow for one attack each round.

Ring Of Invisibility No Not Like That: This chakram is invisible, making it easy to conceal as a melee weapon and hard to avoid as a thrown weapon. If you are holding it, or were the last person to throw it, it's visible to you. An advanced version exists, which returns to you when thrown.

Serpentspear: The front half of this spear transforms into a serpent when it attacks, allowing it to ignore defensive bonuses from shields. If the spearhead is poisoned, the poison can be applied to a successful attack of your choice, rather than the first attack that hits a foe.

Toothhammer: A warhammer that appears to be made entirely of humanoid teeth. On an attack that is a critical success, it summons a fairy that attacks the target, distracting them by trying to pull their teeth out with pliers.
