After giving CSP a shot, I tried Affinity Photo and it didn't go well.

The app is great, it's fast and the UI is super nice(way better than CSP) but it's not great for painting and drawing in my workflow. The brush felt very inconsistent with sudden jumps in pressure.

Long story short, it's great for editing photos(hence the name) but it's not going to be a replacement for painting, as of this version.

Interesting point of view, thank you for sharing your experience, as I'm using Affinity Photo just for that. What about Corel Draw or other softwares like Krita?

It's a personal preference thing the app is great, it's just the brush engine that doesn't feel right to me and my workflow. I've tried krita and it's good as well, CSP felt a little better. Haven't used Corel draw in 20 years so it's probably a lot different.
