Working out how to evolve my style a bit to get where I want it to be.

I'm going to push the shapes a little bit more, maybe leaning more toward my anime influences. Fresh out of K-pop Demon hunters, Urusei Yatsura/Ranma remakes, I want more colorful and expressive pieces. Also want to work on the lineart, thin it down a bit, vary in width, and add more texture scribbles. Finally, I want to find a process to add a little bit of grain or paper texture. Velma is my test subject for all style experiments, so expect her new adventures Monday.

Oi! I've found that in procreate, if you create a new layer, fill it with white, do a noise filter on 300%, then overlay it and put it at 8-12% opacity, it gives a nice texture to the final artwork! Love to see you experimenting and growing your style! And doing it so properly planned as well!

Awesome, that's the kind of experiment I want to do, will definitely try it out.

My bad, you have to fill it with 50% gray so it doesn't affect your colors, but the rest is the same! Good luck trying it out mate! Looking forward to seeing the evolution of your style!!
