You know not to watch the opening credits for Angel, right ? You can watch them after you finish the episode :-)

Joshua Gosdin

An excellent reward. Good luck on finals!

Becky Landis

It’s so much fun to watch you doing these reactions. So much excitement to see after the last few days at work. Love it! It’s going to be interesting to see how this season unfolds.

Wish I had a dollar for every time someone has posted this information. I'd be a hundred-aire.

Jessie

“It’s like a reward”

I have done several rewatches of Buffy. However, I have only watched Angel once when it originally aired in my country and I think I even missed the last 2 seasons. I only remember some bits and pieces from the show, so rewatching it with you is a whole 'nother experience than Buffy and it will probably be so much fun. Really looking forward to it.

Yeah, I've never re-watched Angel either. I made an attempt once during a Buffy re-watch, but only got a couple of episodes in before I was bored to death and just started re-watching Buffy episodes.

I wasn't bored of Angel, I was probably just distracted. As far as I remember, Angel features some really cool characters und developments. Also, I could only ever watch the German dub. I'm really excited to experience the show in English because something always gets lost in translation.

David Neal

I've actually not made it all the way through Angel once, so I might do so for the first time with Alley.

Val

Hurray for last classes! I've only seen Angel once and that was enough. I did think it was good(with some great eps too) but BtVs is the one I love the most and will rewatch endlessly with all the many...many reactors. :) I actually haven't seen at least one ep in the 4th season, so I will watch that "live" along with Alley. But aside from some eps here and there, I won't remember a lot of stuff so it will be relatively fresh watching again with Alley. Maybe I will just watched the edited versions, and the pivotal/more well known eps I will watch unedited.

Eric Bushee

Only 197 episode left to react to, it's going by so quickly.

Øyvind Jenssen

You are gonna love Angel, Alley. In my view it is better than Buffy. :)

Elisa H.

I hope someone mentioned not to look at the opening credits of the first episodes of this and angel. This should be said for all seasons. First episode opening credits AVERT THE EYES!

Jim Greer

As much as I enjoy Angel ,nothing is as great as Buffy .

David Neal

So, I am sure you talked about it on a previous video, but and I'm sure I watched it, but I've slept since then. Now that SPN is finished, are you going to be doing two Buffyverse episodes a week? And what is the specific order you will be using?

Kirby
>>49335564

Do you forget things when you sleep? (lol). I think she's going to follow the Slayalive guide, because that's what most people wanted. So some weeks it will be one Buffy and one Angel episode. Other times we could get two of the same. The guide also has, at times three in a row of Buffy/Angel. Not that Alley will do three episodes in a week, it just means that there could be long gaps when we don't get Buffy reactions. Not that there's necessarily anything wrong with that, just depends what your preferences are.

Justafox305

i actually never saw angel. On a semi related note - never saw supernatural until last week. I am on season 1, episode 2. I'm slightly nervous about starting a show that has 15 seasons.

David Neal
>>49335564

While yes, I forget some things while sleeping, "I've slept since then" is also a way of saying "it's been a few days". Thank you for reminding me of the information. It helps to know what to be looking forward to :)

Kirby

Oh is that how the kids talk? I'm old I don't know these things.

David Neal

Could you imagine if this page had a 90's style "hit counter" ? I think I alone could make it look like a Chronograph right now.

David Neal

Alas, I must go to bed before it posts. Hopefully I shall see it when I wake.

Lee Wilcock

I am vibrating with excitement, so I might as well use that vibration to keep hitting refresh. However it is a little early. I imagine things will get truly seismic later lol.

Lee Wilcock

I think we can find her something else to react to. Both Joss Whedon and David Greenwalt did plenty of good other projects. I am thinking Firefly, Dollhouse, and Grimm can keep her going for at least a couple more years.

Salix

Alley. Who's this guy. Me. Thats Mando

Kirby
>>49311323

I would watch two out of three of those. I didn't care for Grimm. I watched a few episodes but couldn't get into it because I didn't like the main character.

Kirby
>>49388470

Though, I'm not a huge fan of Angel the series. I'm looking forward to this one. The pilot episode is good. I remember back in the day being so excited about it.

Cameron Rayburn

I agree, she's gonna like Angel as a show better based upon the parts of Buffy she likes so far, the drama/psychological philosophical moral ambiguity/dilemma parts of Buffy which are more prevalent in Angel, with Angel being a darker show and story. I think she was blown away by Buffy by her reactions, Angel will be her favorite show ever like it is mine! =}

Dollface

I'm feeling refreshed.

Gordon Fitzgerald

How are you watching the shows again? DVD? Streaming? I noticed that this episode is in the better 4:3 format since the remaster was botched, and Hulu/Prime run season 4 onwards at 16:9. Im trying to find it in 4:3.

Cara Mackenzie

OMG I just realized Pedro Pascal was on Buffy...I've seen this show so many times...
