I know, right? He's all incorporeal! I def learned a new SAT word with season five. lol

If you want to see another one shot, just wait until you see the opening credit sequence of the Firefly movie later.

Mikko Viinikka

W&H gave Angel the amulet in the season 4 finale.

The Mad Titan

I enjoyed both episodes so far, and I absolutely love the banter back and forth between Angel and Spike.

That’s one of the reasons I don’t love the Buffy finale because the world is basically saved by Wolfram and Hart more than anything Buffy and Co do.

Ray D

Another fun episode. The fish out of water element of the gang running Wolfram and Hart is such an interesting dynamic. They have all of these resources but also evil clients. The Spike/Angel banter and relationship is another great thing about this season. I just love their back and forth.

So... is the demon who get's their mind transferred into that woman's dead body technically the first transgender character we've seen in the Buffyverse?

I like my head cannon explanation: The First was the source of the slayer power and Willow giving that power to so many people weakened The First beyond repair

Calvin Allen

We saw Lilah give Angel the amulet

We have no way of knowing whether that demon was male or female to begin with. Remember, Lorne's mother for example appeared very male by human standards. So a demon being played by a male actor isn't necessarily a male demon.

I'd nominate "preachin' to the horse's mouth" for quote of the day.

The First has a line about "when my army outnumbers the humans on this earth, the scales will tip and I will be made flesh." My thought is that the Slayers tipped the scales by killing the Ubervamps (the remaining ones were even hesitating.) The amulet wasn't doing anything for quite a bit. I think it activated when the scales tipped and maybe at that moment the number of Slayers on earth outnumbered the Ubervamps. Just my headcanon though.

Angel season 5 is definitely one of the top in the Slayerverse with all the new character dynamics.

Phoenix Dawn

Loved your face for the reveal! Also, I think "Just Rewards" is reference to Spike saying it is not fair that he sacrificed himself and got no reward and Angel is living in the riches which is not "just".

Sheriff Uchiha

I wonder why the previous on cut out Buffy saying she loves Spike like it shows the lead-up to her saying it and the aftermath but not the line its self.

Stewiebro

Lilah gave angel the amulet last season

Jeff Cornell

Looks like Spike is in his S3 Dean Winchester era.

Oxmustube

Alley not getting the "Casper" reference made me feel real old!

Chris Hanley

I love the chemestry between Angel and Spike, Spike didn't really have an equal on Buffy but the sibling rivalry he has with Angel is chefs kiss

Stacey

Honestly the Angel and Spike dynamic is one of the most fascinating in the whole of the buffyverse so much history there and now they both exist as vampires with souls it is so complex but so interesting

The question is how did it get back to Wolfram and Hart? The events in the Hellmouth occurred after Lilah had given Angel the amulet. Somehow it must have been found in the rubble that once was Sunnydale, and retrieved by whoever sent it back to Angel.

I love the idea of Angel getting in his elevator to his underground garage with fancy cars that have windows that won't let sunlight in, and he gets to his destination during the day and....... WHAT THEN?

Only direct sunlight is a problem. If he can't find a parking garage, there's plenty of places in shadows from the tall buildings in LA.

StephanieB

So Lorne sees Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom as the Hollywood versions of Spike and Angel... respectively? Or the other way around? Any thoughts?
