A few minutes earlier…

While Fang Mo was finishing breakfast and heading off to pester Integra, the construction crew tasked with restoring the Hellsing manor finally arrived. Given Hellsing’s considerable authority in Britain, they wasted no time initiating repairs—after all, the main castle had collapsed and needed immediate attention.

Walter, the official “butler” of the manor, was the one responsible for negotiating and coordinating with them. They had a heavy workload today: first, they needed to set up a temporary meeting space. Integra had made it clear she would be holding a Round Table meeting soon—probably because she’d found some clues in the remains of a destroyed vampire and wanted to discuss countermeasures with other top officials.

Thanks to Hellsing’s generous funding, the construction team got right to work. Walter also recalled other Hellsing personnel to bolster security. Granted, these “other members” weren’t monsters like Alucard—just normal soldiers, technically belonging to the military but seconded to Hellsing, following Integra’s orders.

Sure, Alucard was Hellsing’s trump card. But vampires weren’t that common to begin with, and Hellsing needed boots-on-the-ground for investigations, cleanup, and general security duties. This massive complex also required a certain level of military protection.

When Fang Mo and Alucard wrecked the manor earlier, those members had been out on other missions at Integra’s request. Now, with a Round Table meeting imminent and the castle in ruins, Walter had recalled them to ensure the area was fully guarded.

The manor, which had been eerily quiet before, was suddenly quite lively. Workers bustled about with construction materials, while fully armed soldiers guarded the gates and patrolled possible entry points to the manor. Everything was going smoothly—until the appearance of two men shattered that peace.

They were a duo dressed in starkly contrasting styles: one in white, the other in black. The first wore a white suit, topped by a white overcoat. He had golden hair, gold-rimmed glasses, and a courteous bearing, though his face wore a confident, icy smile. Beside him stood a younger, more sinister-looking man. Compared to the gentlemanly aura of the first, this second figure wore a dark-gray tracksuit and cap, bristling with piercings—rings in his ears, nose, lips, even around his eyes—projecting a distinctly disturbing vibe.

In simpler terms… if this had been the Naruto universe, the moment he showed up, Naruto would be on his knees begging him not to kill Jiraiya.

Chatting idly, the two approached Hellsing’s front gate.

“Hey! Halt right there!”

The guards at the gate promptly stopped them. “Who are you? This is private property. No civilians allowed!”

“‘No civilians allowed’?”

The two men exchanged glances, looking amused.

“That’s right.” One guard frowned. Something about these two seemed off. “This is private land. Leave immediately.”

“Actually, the ones who should leave… are you.”

The man in the dark tracksuit gave a cruel little laugh.

“What are you—”

Before the guard could finish, a bullet whizzed in from a distance and punched straight through his forehead. The massive force shredded his brain, smashed his skull open from behind, and flung blood, brain matter, and shards of bone into the air. His beret popped off, leaving a crimson splatter across Hellsing’s gate.

“Enemy attack!”

That was all the other soldiers needed to see to know something was very wrong. “Everyone, watch out! They’re—”

“You don’t look so good, fellas.”

Grinning and raising his eyebrows, the man in black winked mockingly. “I said you should leave, and now you’re going to. Hurry off, you worthless pigs.”

He snapped his fingers. In the distance, the windows of a large bus opened, revealing rows of gun barrels. An instant later, a volley of bullets and shells erupted in a massive barrage. The poor gate guards had no time to fight back; they were torn to ribbons, along with the manor’s front gates, which exploded into twisted debris.

“All right, enough!”

Seeing them fully neutralized, the man in black raised his voice. “Stop firing, you dumbasses!”

It took repeated shouting for the gunfire to cease.

“Seriously, are all those ghoul soldiers brainless?” He sighed, lips curving in a sadistic smirk. “You think anything’s off, big bro?”

“What could possibly be wrong?”

The blond man in the white suit—the older brother—remained calm. “It’s just another of the Major’s experiments. Boring, maybe, but it has to be carried out properly.”

“Yeah, yeah.”

The man in black waved him off, face twisting into a bloodthirsty smile. “Works for me, anyway, as long as we get to kill and drink blood to our heart’s content. All right, move out!”

At his command, the bus doors slammed open. Heavily armed soldiers began to pour out. They wore steel helmets, masks, and heavy Kevlar lined with grenades and magazines. Despite the weight, each carried a heavy firearm single-handed and brandished a reinforced ballistic shield. Through the goggles, one could see their eyes glowed faint purple.

Stepping off the vehicle, they silently formed disciplined ranks, exuding a chilling aura of death. Not a word was spoken.

“Hahaha! Screw Hellsing and Alucard!”
The tracksuit-clad man roared in laughter, brandishing two submachine guns. “I’m gonna kill you all today!”

He charged, hurling a grenade with inhuman strength toward a guard post a few hundred meters away. Boom! Flames soared into the sky.

“What was that?!”

“Did something just explode?”

“Captain, look—someone’s coming!”

Workers in the construction area glanced around anxiously, drawn by the noise. But they were mere civilians, unarmed and unprepared. Before they realized what was happening, bullets tore through them like a scythe through wheat.

“Shit!!”

Panic spread among the workers. They turned to flee, but these mysterious attackers moved far too quickly—faster than any human should. They swooped in at near-blur speed, not firing guns but instead ripping off their masks to reveal razor-sharp fangs. A wave of screams and the wet sounds of chomping rose as workers were devoured alive.

The Hellsing soldiers soon arrived to defend, but the difference in power was overwhelming. The invaders moved like lightning, using heavy shields to soak bullets. With savage ferocity, they tore apart the defenders in close quarters, feasting on their bodies. Worse, many half-eaten corpses actually rose again, promptly swelling the ranks of these inhuman attackers.

“Hey, hey, you hear me?”

Having finished off the immediate opposition, the man in black tracksuit shouted into the battered ruins around him. “Yo, you filthy little Integra—stop hiding and come out to die!”

“…”

Silence. Of course, Integra was barricaded in the basement by Fang Mo.

“Tch. You’re really not gonna show yourself after all that?”

He bent down, picking up a severed human head, fiddling with it like a child’s toy. “We Valentine Brothers are snacking on your men. Unless you wanna watch them literally get turned into shit, better come face me!”

“We’re about to storm right in. Did you pray yet? Did you cry to your god?”

“Did you prepare yourself to cower in the corner of your room, begging for mercy?”

“…”

“Pathetic.”

When no response came, the tracksuit man gave an annoyed shrug. “Is she that stubborn, or did she just kill herself already?”

“Fine. Let’s—”

Before the blond man in the white suit—Luke Valentine—could reply, his younger brother, Jan Valentine, casually tilted his head back and started guzzling blood from a corpse’s neck. He cackled, his expression grotesque, “Tastes great! Hahaha, I’m so freakin’ pumped!”

“…”

Luke Valentine shot his brother a wordless, exasperated look. Even he found Jan’s behavior grating.

“Seems they’re hiding,” Luke muttered, adjusting his gold-rimmed glasses. “I’ll head down to the basement first. You finish off any stragglers up here.”

“You’re going after Alucard?”

Jan said with a grin. “Think you can handle him alone?”

“Of course.”

Luke smirked. “I’m a far more perfect modern creation. Alucard’s an antique who’s long past his prime. I’ll drag him back for experimentation.”

“Sounds good.”

Jan cackled. “As for that pig of a woman, Integra—she’s all mine. I’ll carve off her limbs and tits, feed ’em to the ghouls, and make her watch every second…”

They were still talking when a door opened in the ruins nearby with a creak. Fog had rolled in at some point, and now two ominous silhouettes emerged from the mist.

“Oho, look who finally decided to show up!”
Jan Valentine let out a low whistle upon seeing them. As they neared, their appearances became clear: one tall man in a red coat—Alucard—and a white-haired fellow wearing a mischievous grin. Both exuded a dangerous aura.

“Huh?”

Jan frowned. “Alucard and… some asshole I don’t know? So that pig’s too chickenshit to come out?”

“Who’re you calling an asshole?”

“Who’re you calling a pig?”

Alucard and Fang Mo spoke at exactly the same time, turning on Jan Valentine.

“!”

A vast wave of killing intent crashed over him, so potent he reflexively stepped back. An instant later, he caught himself, anger flaring as he raised his SMGs.

“Looks like it’s split-up time, bro!”

He aimed at Fang Mo, narrowing his eyes. “You take Alucard; I’ll handle this unknown loser—”

“Jan, wait!”

But it was too late. Jan Valentine had already pulled the trigger. Muzzle flashes lit up the space, bullets screaming toward Fang Mo, only to ricochet harmlessly in sparks, clattering everywhere.

“W-What?!”

Jan stared, stunned.

“So…”

Fang Mo turned calmly to Alucard. “They’re dividing us up. Should I leave one for you?”

“Kukuku…”

Alucard chuckled, drawing his massive black handgun. “I recently got a new gun. Might as well try it out on these intruders.”

“Alright, I’ll take that no-name twerp, then.”

“Do as you like,” Alucard replied with a savage grin. “But make it brutal. Anyone who insults my Master can’t die too quickly.”

“What the hell are you jackasses babbling about?”

Jan Valentine spat, flipping them off. “You worthless prey don’t get to decide who hunts—”

He never finished the sentence. Fang Mo had already grown impatient.

“Bansho Ten’in!”

With a flick of his hand, an irresistible gravitational pull yanked Jan Valentine straight toward him.

“?!”

Jan’s eyes widened, reflexively firing more shots at Fang Mo, specifically aiming for his eyes. But the bullets bounced harmlessly aside, not even leaving a scratch. In the next second, Fang Mo’s hand clamped around Jan’s neck with a sharp smack.

“H-how the hell… What’s with your defense?”
Jan rasped.

Fang Mo didn’t answer. Instead, he whipped out a dagger and stabbed it into Jan’s gut with a quick shunk.

“Gah…”

“Relax. You won’t die.”

Fang Mo’s smile was disturbingly pleasant as he released his grip and let Jan drop to the ground. “See, this dagger doesn’t cause real damage—it actually heals.”

“Heals? What… what the hell do you—?”

“Don’t stress it. I just wanna play a game. That’s why I need you alive.”

Fang Mo smirked. “But a game’s only interesting if you can at least struggle. Otherwise, where’s the fun?”

“You—!”

Jan started to swing his SMG again, but Fang Mo moved faster. He seized Jan’s arm and casually crack! snapped it off at the elbow.

“Aaagh!!”

Jan grunted in pain, then watched in shock as flesh and sinew regrew almost instantly, forming a brand-new arm. “Wh-What is this?! Even vampires can’t regenerate that fast!”

“Time to see how tough you really are.”

Ignoring Jan’s horror, Fang Mo patted him on the shoulder. “The game starts now. The rules are simple: just do whatever it takes to survive.”

“Wha—?”

Before Jan could finish, Fang Mo’s hand chopped forward, piercing the man’s throat, gripping his cervical vertebrae, and violently ripping them right out of his neck. He then stabbed that bloody piece of spine into Jan’s eye socket.

Screaming, Jan collapsed backward. Driven by agony, he clawed desperately at the vertebra lodged in his face. Fang Mo stomped a foot down on the protruding bone shard, increasing the pain exponentially.

As Jan flailed, Fang Mo’s voice came, low and sinister as a demon’s:

“So, did you pray? Did you cry out to your precious god?”

“Are you huddled in some corner, whimpering for mercy?”

“Ready to grovel while trembling, like you said everyone else should?”

The scene fades on Fang Mo’s gruesome retribution.

(Side note: The blond man in the white suit is Luke Valentine—a proud, powerful, egotistical vampire known for epic meltdown “face acting.” Fun fact: he’s voiced by the well-known seiyū Takehito Koyasu.)
