Steve Chapter 893: Fucking Run! (Patreon)

“A‑‑A genuine Magic‑Bullet Gunner?”
Hearing Fang Mo’s comment, Rip Van Winkle couldn’t help murmuring the words under her breath.
“Watch carefully, small fry.”
Fang Mo ignored her, loosened his grip and dropped Rip Van Winkle to the deck as though tossing away trash. Then he produced his portable workshop box. “This is how you’re supposed to use magic bullets!”
With that, he slammed an Infinity Particle onto the enchanting table.
Yes—an Infinity Particle, the same item he had once drawn together with the Creative Spike Block.
Back then he’d only pulled one fragment; whether in the base Avaritia mod or in Tinkers’ Construct add‑ons, a single fragment was far too little to forge gear with, so he had left it gathering dust ever since.
But watching Rip Van Winkle’s earlier performance had given Fang Mo an idea.
True, the thing is awkwardly balanced in‑game, yet he could materialize it in reality; slap on a few enchants and upgrades and it would be perfectly useable, right?
No sooner had the thought crossed his mind than he acted.
He had Steve rummage through the backpack, quickly fishing out several enchanted books. First on the pile was a budget substitute for Mending—Loyalty.
Given the raw strength of Infinity‑grade material, there was no need to stack every enchant under the sun.
After all, top‑quality ingredients need only the simplest cooking. So Fang Mo refrained from mindlessly loading on every enchantment.
For enchants he only applied a handful—Loyalty, Power, and Soulbind.
As for Tinkers’ modifiers, he added a few more: full‑gem “More Terrain” upgrades, Tinkers‑exclusive second Soulbind, some Redstone speed, and the like.
It sounded complicated, but Fang Mo was long‑since practiced; in under a minute he had turned the Infinity Particle into a literal magic round.
“Good—finished.”
He lifted the newly enchanted particle, weighing it in his palm.
Infinity material supposedly contains everything in the multiverse, yet thanks to its “attunes‑to‑owner” trait it wasn’t nearly as heavy as a Neutronium ingot. Holding it gave the illusion of gripping the whole cosmos… but in reality it was only a bit hefty, nothing close to that ultra‑heavy Neutronium greatsword—though its toughness was beyond doubt.
After a brief pause, Fang Mo drew out a great‑bow.
“Wh‑What is that…?”
Rip Van Winkle stared, stupefied. Her eyes were vacant as she looked at the ever‑shifting bow, reason teetering on collapse; even the ability to form words was deserting her.
While she gaped, Fang Mo prepared to test his creation.
He glanced around, quickly fixing on a sizable island not far away—a typical mid‑Atlantic landmass, fairly large and ringed by several smaller islets, an archipelago of sorts. At first glance it reminded him of the one Bear Grylls crash‑landed on in Man vs. Wild; a volcanic formation, no doubt.
“All right, you’ll do.”
With no better target available, he locked on to the island—and casually rested a hand on Rip Van Winkle’s shoulder.
“!?”
The sudden contact made her jolt.
“Relax,” Fang Mo chuckled. “You’ll go biu and die in an instant. It won’t hurt.”
“W‑Wait, I—”
She tried to beg, but before the words were out Fang Mo blinked them both through the Void.
A violet‑black flash; the world blurred—and the next moment they stood atop the island.
“This is—”
Rip Van Winkle froze, then her face changed. “No! Don’t—”
Too late. As she lunged for him, Fang Mo’s form dissolved into a streak of purple‑black and vanished.
“Done… I’m done for!!”
Seeing him disappear, she cracked. Terror and despair twisted her features to madness.
“Target set.”
Back aboard the battleship, Fang Mo was in excellent spirits. He leveled the great‑bow at the island and nocked the ping‑pong‑ball‑sized Infinity Particle.
“Time to blow it the hell up!”
He loosed. Titanic force erupted from the bowstring. The particle turned into a cosmic ray, shrieking across the sea—no longer a projectile but a forbidden hue eclipsing the stars, rending all, punching through the void like divine wrath.
“Eeeeeeek!!”
On the island, Rip Van Winkle collapsed, clutching her flintlock so hard her knuckles whitened.
A heartbeat later, the entire island vanished—silently.
Sea, mountain, billions of tons of water and living things were vaporized, exposing a twisted seabed.
“Hmm…”
Even such cataclysm left Fang Mo unfazed. He focused—and the dual Soulbinds plus Loyalty kicked in. His will overlapped with the bullet’s; like any other weapon it became an extension of his limbs.
With a thought, the particle pivoted at an impossible angle and streaked toward a second island. In a blink that island, too, ceased to exist, the seafloor split by a bottomless chasm belching magma.
“As I guessed—I can control it.”
Satisfied, Fang Mo smiled. Another mental nudge and the blazing mote made another physics‑defying turn, smashing into a third island. The whole archipelago disappeared in the space of a breath, faster than the sea could react. From above one would have seen the ocean carved into surreal grids, magma boiling beneath a chessboard of nothingness.
When at last his fun was over, the Infinity round zipped back into his hand. Only then did the sea “catch up,” exploding with thunderous roars. Abyssal trenches refilled, colliding tsunamis reared sky‑high, and even the carrier under Fang Mo’s feet rocked as though about to capsize.
Thankfully it was night; had it been day, any witness would have dropped to their knees—this dwarfed the parting of the Red Sea.
“Right… probably time.”
After admiring the spectacle, Fang Mo ducked into the cabin and checked a clock. Hours had flown; he’d started in the afternoon, now the sun was down. In the original story, the final battle happened at night—so it must be close.
Playtime over, he slipped the Infinity bullet into his storage (ahem—into the inventory behind him), pressed two fingers together and pointed at the carrier deck.
“Eagle‑class! Take off!!”
Void rings flared; a gravity field ignited. The carrier groaned; anchors snapped; the immense hull lifted from the waves. Water cascaded away as it rose, silently hovering like Nick Fury’s helicarrier.
Consulting the minimap, Fang Mo changed into Daoist robes, formed a sword seal, and with a sweep of his hand sent the massive ship gliding toward London.
At first the carrier crawled, but as he cranked up the gravity field its speed grew absurd. Wind howled; friction made the steel hull creak, yet Fang Mo stood at the bow, robes snapping—if one ignored what he was “riding,” he really did look like an immortal swordsman.
After some time the Eagle reached the waters off London.
From afar the city was ablaze. Dirigibles drifted overhead; ruins littered the streets; ghouls wandered everywhere.
“So the fight’s begun.”
Clearly the Major hadn’t lied: the grand offensive was underway. In canon the Major struck only after luring Alucard away—yet Alucard was still in London, and the Major attacked anyway, apparently with great success. Odd.
“Did someone out‑scheme Alucard again?”
Scanning with the minimap, Fang Mo quickly spotted a battlefield on London’s outskirts: three monsters clashing amid ruined blocks. One crimson figure stood out—Alucard himself, but surprisingly on the back foot, facing Father Anderson of Iscariot and Walter the Reaper, who had fully betrayed them.
While Fang Mo watched, the combatants noticed the looming shadow.
“W‑Wait…”
Walter was first. Seeing the colossal silhouette, he jerked his head up and gasped. “What… in God’s name is that?! That can’t be a Nazi airship!”
“Hmm?”
Alucard looked up as well. “An… aircraft carrier?”
“Ha?!”
Anderson followed suit, dumbfounded. “Since when do you British have such terrifying tech? Some secret weapon? Don’t fool a poor priest—aircraft carriers shouldn’t fly!”
“No, that’s not it!”
Integra suddenly realised. “That’s the missing Eagle‑class! It’s the King in Black! He’s really riding a sword—no, riding a carrier back!!!”
“What?!”
Everyone froze.
At that instant the carrier above them paused, then its bow tipped like a titanic blade, angling straight at the battlefield.
Every heart skipped a beat.
“Mother fuc‑‑!!”
Integra exploded. “He’s actually using the carrier as a sword! RUN!!”
