"What are you staring at? Join in the chant. Even Young Master Zhao has agreed. After it's done, each person will get a 200 RMB red envelope."

Lu Mingfei stood there blankly, holding a sign representing 'i.' The person next to him, marked 'L,' nudged him with his shoulder, kindly reminding him.

That's 200 RMB. In 2004, that's not a small amount.

A bitter smile appeared at the corners of Lu Mingfei's mouth. His expression made it clear that he was reluctant.

Lin Yi didn't respond but instead searched his system space, eventually finding a pack of cigarettes.

It was something he had prepared in the Tokyo Ghoul world.

Casually tearing open a pack of cigarettes, Lin Yi put one in his mouth and tossed one to Lu Mingfei. The latter clumsily caught it but quickly began to explain.

"I don't smoke."

"Then learn. How can a man not know how to smoke?"

Lin Yi lit his cigarette and took a long puff, exhaling a cloud of white smoke.

Lu Mingfei didn't know what it was, but the way this guy spoke had an air of authority that was hard to refuse, like his own father scolding him. He didn't dare to argue.

He could only light the cigarette and take a small puff. After only two drags, he started coughing violently.

"Cough, cough, cough..."

Lu Mingfei felt helpless. He truly didn't know how to smoke.

For now, he could only pretend, taking in the smoke without inhaling it into his lungs, then spitting it back out.

Lin Yi's eyes brightened. He recognized her as Nono.

She was indeed beautiful, no wonder Caesar was willing to give up a forest for her.

Nono was not in a good mood. She had learned in advance about this farewell party and, with the resources of Cassell College, had easily found out what was supposed to happen at the party.
