Hi all,

I wanna make some (sfw) renders of The Last Of Us and therefore I'm working on an Ellie model because the models you find out there have terrible armatures.

Since I've already been accused of being a litteral child molester because of a recent model upload and I don't really like that, especially coming from people of the 3d nsfw community who falsely believe they have any sort of moral high ground, I wanna ask for your opinion :

Should I release the Ellie model without a body under clothing? Or not release it at all ? Or something else ?

My stance the matter is that I don't care about the age of virtual characters because they're not real, but while my conscience is clear on the matter, I also don't quite enjoy being accused of molesting real children simply because I release a model.

And just so there's no doubt about what I'm saying, I don't condone people who sexually abuse real children, they're the worst of humanity.

Anyway, I'd be interested to have your take on the matter

If the character is under age they could argue you're supporting illegal behavior. I would say no body beneath the clothing. There's no point in you accidentally becoming someone's "poster child for evil"

Nude or non-nude I don't care. But you shouldn't drop stuff like that on Patreon or you will get banned, so just keep yourself safe. Ps. Screw the diddlers PPS. TLOU 2 is cringe

Don't release it. Not worth the hassle or side-eye

99% of the time your models are going to be used in an NSFW context, so I would say it's best to avoid releasing characters that shouldn't be used in that context.

2026-09-05 13:00 Release, but only on patreon, or release an older Ellie model.

You could do the TLOU Part 2 Model. But if you want to create a model of the Part 1 Version you should keep it 100% SFW. Otherwise you'll have problems with Patreon.

Dreamhawk

Make it 100% SFW if you want to make renders and, probably, don't release the model at all owing to your work's connection with NSFW content otherwise. Patreon are pretty clear in their terms of service etc about these matters, and have also been known to be very sensitive regarding the mere, potential association as well, so staying completely in the clear is no doubt preferable.

It's sad to know that sharing sfw models could also be an issue, sometimes it's harder to find quality sfw models (rigs) and it would've been amazing to have, but it's better to not risk it
