Hi everyone,

I'm receiving the same questions over and over regarding issues with the models that could be solved if people took some time to read the stickied post.

I'm at a point where I don't know what to do anymore to stop this because it's really exhausting for me and is draining my enthusiasm more than you can imagine.

It was actually one of the reasons I stopped posting models on smutbase back then and now it's happening again here.

Would you have any idea on how this could be avoided ?

I specifically redirect people from the model release post to the stickied one to avoid this but it's not working and I don't understand why. The yellow warning ⚠️ should tell people it's important, no ?

Having a FAQ directly inside the models didn't work either, I'd say it was even worse.

As a last resort I've written a welcome note that all new patrons will receive and which will direct them to the stickied post but at this point I have little hope it will be read anyway.

Hey why is my model pink? Kidding! I just wanted to say your models and rigs are really awesome, so I hope you continue :) I haven't used one of your models since the old 2B animation. I was using your Dani model recently and really love the face rig and all of the options, as well as the performance <3 Now I'm looking forward to using more of them!

As draining as it is, it sadly appears to be something of an inevitability. Whether it's the language barrier or people simply not taking the time to read, there's only so much we can do as creators to get information across. Even steady updates and reminders seems to not really put a dent in it - a remarkable amount of questions I get regarding my project progress could be answered by reading my "progress reports" that are posted every Friday, but my inbox messages tend to mostly pertain to that anyway. Hang in there, and looking forward to seeing what you have in store for us :)

Your models are crazy high quality! Amazing job! I had to say that in blender FAQ helped me a lot! It was in my face, with all the necessary info. I don't think you can do anything else. There always will be people that just lazy to read...

E!

When I was publishing content I had passwords under EVERY set in the descriptions, despite that 1-3 people would daily tell me they can't find them/they dont work. This is just humanity, that's the way its going to always be :P

That's just sad to me. I was thinking maybe a video tutorial would help but if those people can't even read a password, I won't bother expecting them to go through x minutes of a video.

Unfortunately it's as Issue that is almost impossible to avoid, I think. You either bite the bullet and send a link to the FAQ with a nice and professional smile or you ignore questions that your FAQ answers. Not even a link. Just ignore it. Both ways a legit and the second one might be better for your mental health.
