Alright, so I have a lot of doubts about this update. I can already imagine what kind of criticism I might receive for it, but I don't think I could have done it any other way. In this update, we reach the first ending of the Hero path out of two endings. The update is about 18k words long, has 3-ish sex scenes, and introduces 6 new CG sets.

In order to reach the first ending of the Hero path, you need to choose to still trust Laura when prompted for it. Here's the full list of choices in order to reach the Hero path and its first ending:

  • 1. I... I can't...!
  • 2. It's probably in my head
  • 3. I want to see Laura
  • 4. Trust Laura
  • 5. Stop thinking about it
  • 6. Don't
  • 7. That's fine
  • 8. Go find Laura
  • 9. I do understand
  • 10. Trust her still

BUT! Even if we reach the first ending in this update doesn't mean that the other branch doesn't have content!

That's right… The first ending is only 10k words in length, so there's still 8k words' worth of content by choosing not to trust Laura. So please, don't forget to backtrack after reaching the first ending to start the other branch of the path.

There are other small changes that I made while I was at it…

Animated another old scene

I already mentioned that I would still animate old scenes if/when I have the chance, even though we haven't reached the goal for it yet. I just feel like it's kinda weird to have half the game made with two-frame animations, and the other half made with smooth animations. Here's hoping we reach the goal soon so I can animate all the scenes before V1.0.0.

Polished the Ending Selection menu

It was kind of awkward to always make the game start at the "Luca's proposal" scene when choosing which path you wanted to start from in the Ending Selection menu. So I just made it so that you can either choose to start at the beginning of the path (Luca's proposal scene) or at a specific ending for that path. In that example, this is the normal route. So you choose to start at the beginning of the path, or start directly at the Future or Family ending.

Logo

I also added a logo to the Main Menu. It's not very good—it's very basic—but that's the kind of thing that is outside of my area of expertise, and I need a logo if I want to publish the Steam page of the game soon. So it will do for now. If someone is good with logos and thinks he can do a better job, you can always contact me privately if you want.

Download

This stresses me out a bit. I made it so that Patreon is now linked to my website. So from now on, you will download the game directly from my site. Here's the link in order to download the game:

To link your Patreon account to my site, all you have to do is click on the "Refresh to access this content." Then you will be prompted to link your account to my website. Accept, and you should be redirected to the page with the links. It shouldn't be more complicated than this.

Edit #1: Someone pointed out that some browser extensions might block the link between Patreon and my website. Make sure your Adblock or any kind of ad block are disabled if you encounter an error. Sorry and thank you! 

The reason why it stresses me out is that I'm used to things not working properly—in tech, particularly. So while I made some test, and everything should be smooth… I feel like the moment people will try to use it, it will break down and burn. So if there's any problem, please reach out to me. The reason I'm releasing the game early is so that I can (hopefully) manage the tech issues.

Alright here's your criticism HC you piece of shit you made me fail NNN, so on behalf of the no-fap community fuck you. Now then I'll be back in a few hours. (This is sarcasm btw for anyone who can't tell) Btw for anyone who's having issues logging in check your add-ons. I was getting a error when I pressed f12: Failed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT And if you look it up: This error is a result of the several extensions which are installed on your Chrome browser. If you observe, you will see that this error is generated when you turn one the Adblock or Browser Safety Plugin extension So if you're failing to get in check your browser extensions

Howdy so this ending went a bit differently than how I had expected it to, and I just wanted to ask will there be a harem route for luca?

By harem you mean Luca having Laura, Aya, Sandra, and Maya all in one route? Because there's no plan for that as of now. There might be some threesome action? Who knows? But I feel like it would be a bit hard to set up a route with all the girls at the same time. Though I'm not saying it won't happen. It's just not planned.

The game is really very good made and the set up of different POV is a very good approach. The game would be a absolute overhaul if as the very last update u would implement a Lucas POV of all the paths. May as an unlockable achievement after all endings and paths are finished by player first. i know its a lot of work but it would be a great hit...

While the idea isn't bad, there are a few concerns that I can't ignore. First, it would mostly be a netori perspective. And Netori and Netorare aren't really compatible. People who play for the NTR don't want to see the bull perspective and those who play for the netori don't want to see the cuck perspective. So having Luca's perspective unlock when finishing the NTR would be counter-productive. The perspective would have to be available from the get-go if I want to attract Netori fans. But there are two things that are more of a problem for me. First, while Luca does fuck around (literally), adding his perspective wouldn't add much in terms of sexual content. Most sex scenes would be the same, but with his perspective on it. Second, and most importantly, I calculate that the game will be 350k words long when we finish Laura's route. And since Luca is in every ending, and in almost every sex scene, adding his perspective could add something like 200k words to the story. It's such an undertaking… I really don't think it's worth it. If I thought that Luca's perspective could add something to the story, then maybe I'd entertain the idea, but I'm just extremely overwhelmed as-is. I'm sorry.
