I've been having a blast developing Oat and The Baretender project since our last post: "The art student and the nood model 🐱🎨🐶"

In the previous drafts: Oat was a spoiled, rich nepo baby who craved everyone's attention. On his 18th birthday, he got cursed to strip naked whenever he looked down on customers, talked bad to people, or showed overall bad behavior toward others.

But there was no real connection between the naked curse and Oat's behavior—except for fanservice and humiliating Oat.

In the latest draft: Oat is still a rich cat boy who seeks attention, but now he's also a total fraud who never actually does anything himself—he always relies on others and takes all the credit! What a bad cat he is!

The curse strips him to reveal his hollowness—to show he's a fraud and has nothing inside. All the expensive clothes he wears to protect his image? Gone! All the things he owns to flaunt his status? Gone! POOF!

This way, the curse is much better and more meaningful!

I even think the curse might leave him wearing only a pair of boxers... or briefs. 🩲 XD

Being stripped naked and vulnerable is one thing (and Oat probably doesn't mind showing his schlong around and still acting cocky).

But being stripped down to just a pair of tacky boxers? That's something Oat can't stand. It shows his weakness—his status quo is gone, his ego is gone. It's what Oat fears the most!

And it's way funnier if it's the only thing left to protect his modesty... before another wardrobe malfunction happens! 🍑
