If you're just starting or rereading the Muse for a different LI, here's a guide to get the most amount of points with the LI you want, and gain as many detective points as possible!

CHAPTER 1:

Choice 1: Pan is explaining why they need insurance

Picking either "We are a musical group!" or "We have medical concerns!" gets you 2 secret detective points. Picking "We wish to purchase a home!" leads to Selene kicking them out and no points.

CHAPTER 2:

Choice 1: Selene decides who to go with in the club

This choice is an opportunity to gain a couple extra points with one of the LIs. So if you pick the bar, you will run into Pan. If you pick the dance floor, you run into Terpsichore. So choose depending on who you want more time with.

Choice 2-A: Pan calls Selene intimidating

Note: you will only see this choice if you picked the bar. Picking "Why is that?" will gain you 2 points with Pan.

Choice 2-B: Terpsichore compliments her dancing

Note: you will only see this choice if you picked the dance floor. Picking "You think so?" will gain 2 points with Terpsichore.

CHAPTER 3:

Choice 1: Exploring with Terpsichore

You can pick whatever you want for this one, but going right will lead you to Melpomene, and going left will lead you to Erato and Eros.

Choice 2-A: Melpomene calls you Terpsichore's "lover"

Note: You will only see this choice if you picked 'go right' on the previous choice. Pick "Play along" if you want 2 points with Terpsichore.

Choice 2-B:  Terpsichore apologizes for Erato/Eros's behavior

Note: You will only see this choice if you picked 'go left' earlier. Picking "I thought they were charming" gains you 2 Terpsichore points, "They weren't so bad" gains 1 point, and "That was weird as hell" gains none.

Choice 3: Selene and Polyhymnia are talking in the study

Suggesting "Start over?" will gain 2 points with Polyhymnia.

Choice 4: Pan calls himself a screw up

Picking "I don't think you're that bad" gets 2 Pan points.

Choice 5: Hermes says he hopes Selene isn't still upset

"I'm over it" gains 2 points with Hermes.

CHAPTER 4:

Choice 1: Selene is about to change

Pick "Don't start something you can't finish" for 2 points with Pan.

MINIGAME: Greek myth quiz

This next series of choices is a quiz that'll gain you a detective point per correct answer, and you can skip it for gems if you want. But since you're here, you can just cheat. The correct answers are "Hermes," "Aulos," "Verona," "Music," "Comedy," and "Epic poetry" for a total of 6 detective points.

Choice 2: Polyhymnia is impressed by Selene

Pick "Maybe it's because I have a good teacher..." for 2 points with Polyhymnia.

Choice 3: Polyhymnia apologizes for how she treated Selene originally

Pick "Very sweet" for 2 points with her.

CHAPTER 5:

Choice 1: Selene is trying to set up these strangers

You can gain an extra detective point if you pick "Talk to the girl first."

Choice 2: Terpsichore is talking about not taking things seriously

Pick "I like that philosophy" for 2 points with Terpsichore.

Choice 3: Terpsichore asks you to dance with her

Pick "Get close" for 2 Terpsichore points.

Choice 4: Orpheus asks if you really want to learn music

If you pick "It sounds like fun" you gain 2 points with Pan

MINIGAME: Music lesson + quiz

The next 5 choices is a quiz that'll gain you a detective point per correct answer, and you can skip it for gems if you want. But since you're here, you can just cheat. The correct answers are "Raise the pitch," "FACE," "Higher," "Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge," and "Bass clef" for a total of 5 detective points.

Choice 5: Orpheus is being an ass

Choose "Defend Pan" for 2 points with him.

Choice 6: Hermes mentions spying on you

“Find anything interesting?” gains 2 Hermes points.

CHAPTER 6:

Choice 1: Polyhymnia calls her special

Obviously, tease her for 2 points.

Choice 2: Hermes says you can ask him anything

Because you're a cheeky woman, pick "Do you have a girlfriend"  for 2 points.

Choice 3: Haruna asks for your name

This choice is timed because you have to be quick on your feet. But the best course of action here is an alias. You're undercover, so you can't tell her your real name. You also shouldn't pick Polyhymnia because it's not very subtle and could make her question you. So, both of those answers will lose a detective point. Picking "Melody" will gain you 1 detective point.

Choice 4: Hermes asks how he can help

Pick "Make me laugh" for 2 points with him and an extended dialogue that I think is super cute bahahah

CHAPTER 7:

Choice 1: Polyhymnia asks if she's paying attention

Pick "I'm having trouble focusing" for 2 points.

Choice 2: Pedro is talking shit about Pan

Pick "You're wrong" for 2 points with Pan.

CHAPTER 8:

Choice 1: Terpsichore makes a joke about tiring her out

"I might need more data" gains 2 points.

Choice 2: Selene asks Hermes or Pan to help her

So obviously, just pick whichever you want more points with, either one will gain you 2 points with that person. If you're not going for either of the boys, you can pick "Just do it yourself" and you won't gain any points.

MINIGAME: Dance performance

The next several choices are a timed mini game to see how well you remembered the dance routine and to impress Marius. You can skip it for gems, but since you're here you can cheat. The correct order is "Fingersnap hip sway," "Shimmy," "Drop it," "Grind," and "Jump and pose." You can gain 5 detective points if you get at least 4/5 of these correct.

CHAPTER 9:

Choice 1: Polyhymnia says her having fun won't last

Pick "We'll see about that" for 2 points with her.

Choice 2: Terpsichore says she barely leaves the mountain

Pick "So I made your life better" for 2 points.

Choice 3: Hermes says he wanted to see the city

Pick "Is that the only reason?" for 2 points with him.

Choice 4: Pan says he's not yet satisfied

Pick "What do you have in mind?"

Choice 5: Polyhymnia asks which suspect you're leaning towards.

There's no points here, you can pick whoever you're actually suspicious of. But... this will be remembered and it will affect some things in the future so choose carefully...
