I’m not gonna lie… this is a scene I’ve had written for many, many months. Even before the story ever released. I’ve been super excited to get to this little moment and I hope it’s as cute and nostalgic for some of you as it is for me 😂 so here it is… the reveal of who exactly Wyatt was talking to at the end of ch19 👀

CHARON

You alright there?

WYATT

Oh, sh*t, I didn't know anyone else was here!

CHARON

Neither did I.

CHARON

I thought I was the only one who hung out here after hours.

WYATT

I can leave.

CHARON

Not necessary.

WYATT

You're the orchestra director, right?

CHARON

Can I, uh, ask why you're drinking alone in the theater at midnight?

WYATT

I needed somewhere to think.

CHARON

You didn’t want to come to rehearsal, but you came back here after hours.

WYATT

It was the first place that really came to mind.

CHARON

I can relate to… needing silence.

CHARON

But trust me, there’s such a thing as too much.

You know, they were having mic problems left and right today without you.

CHARON

My cellists were complaining because the balance was off.

WYATT

Sorry, I just couldn’t bring myself to come into rehearsal and see everyone today.

CHARON

How come?

WYATT

Okay, the girl I’m in love with is dating someone else and I can’t look at her without my heart shattering.

CHARON

That’s Annie, right?

WYATT

Oh come on! Even you know?!
