SUTTON

MAVERICK

You’re all quiet.

MAVERICK

Which wouldn’t be an issue, but usually you’re talking my whole ear off.

MAVERICK

You only get quiet when there’s something on your mind.

SUTTON

God, how do you even notice things like that?

MAVERICK

I’m very observant, I told you.

MAVERICK

Now don’t avoid my question.

SUTTON

I guess I’ve just been thinking about my life the past several years.

SUTTON

Maybe I’m just naive, or stupid, I don’t know.

MAVERICK

Please don’t say any of those things about yourself.

SUTTON

I just mean, I’m starting to reassess every interaction with Rowan I’ve ever had.

SUTTON

And none of them are like how I remembered them.

SUTTON

I kept telling myself maybe his attitude was this new stress related thing…

SUTTON

But now I’m wondering if he was always this way and I never knew any better.
