Will you be my date to the wedding?

MAVERICK

I thought your plan was to run away with the groom.

SUTTON

I changed my mind.

SUTTON

If he’s happy, then I'm happy for him. 

SUTTON

I want to know if he and I can still be friends after everything...

SUTTON

If not, then I can finally close that chapter of my life.

SUTTON

And you already came all this way, so I didn’t want it to be for nothing.

SUTTON

But I get it if you don’t really want to.

MAVERICK

Nothing I’d rather do, sweetheart.

SUTTON

Really, there’s nothing you’d rather do than go to Rowan’s wedding?

MAVERICK

Okay, I can think of a few places I’d much rather take you, alone.

MAVERICK

But I was trying to be cute.

SUTTON

You’re always cute, don’t worry.

MAVERICK

Although I, uh, didn’t bring a suit or anything like that to wear.

MAVERICK

But, uh, I didn’t bring like a suit or anything to wear.

SUTTON

That’s okay.

SUTTON

I know you’d probably hate wearing one, anyways.

SUTTON

You can just be you.
