Speak Now CH31 Sneak Peek (Patreon)

I know I've been a little absent/slow to update, but I've been super busy personally (between holidays and work) as well as just these last two chapters being the most branched of the entire story, so it's taking me a while. All that aside, here's a little dialogue sneak peek for the penultimate chapter of Speak Now! Not everyone will see this exact scene, as this version will only be in the Lover endings (aka, if you have high Lover points), and the alternative version will be a bit different. But hopefully that's not a worry for any of you here!

    How's your brother doing?

        BENITO

    Ugh, fine.

        LILY

    Are you sure?

        BENITO

    Huh?

        LILY

    Your tone suggested he might not be.

    No, no, he's doing just peachy.

    You don't sound happy about it.

        BENITO

    I wouldn't say that but...

    Ever since he and Sutton got back from Arizona a few weeks ago, they've been shacking up in my apartment.

        BENITO

    Like all the damn time, I can't escape it.

        LILY

    And you're jealous.

    Ew. If you're insinuating I'm harboring some kind of crush on my brother's girlfriend-

    Not jealous of Maverick.

        LILY

    Jealous of their relationship.

        BENITO
