Next Week... (Blog) (Patreon)

Here is a sneaky preview of what's coming up! Don't get too excited, this is just a custom, re-made intro based on one of the games I'll be covering (if you think you recognize it, keep it to yourself)! This time next week, I'll be dropping a trailer to hype up the upcoming channel special. Not too common... I'm actually getting anxious thinking about it.

Progress) EVERYTHING HAS BEEN SHOT! All but three Voice Overs is completed and editing has begun. I'm currently in the middle of editing the first video and tomorrow, I'll be finishing VO and starting work on the second video. I've guesstimated 2 days to each video editing wise as a lot of the heavy lifting has already been completed, such as these custom intros you can see right here. So on that schedule, all five videos should be fully edited by the end of next week ready for Early Access and giving me some time for thumbnails (and experimental time trying to dodge copyright and advertiser friendly issues). But with everything as planned, it should be good for the week after next. Five Reviews in Five Days! I know I've been saying it for weeks now but I do hope this does well, for the channel's sake, for my sake and so that this can happen for a few more years with people looking forward to it!

Everything Else) Found some time the other night to play a bit of SNES which was nice. First time I've played anything not for a video since maybe June, possibly July. A few levels of Super Mario World and some rounds of Primal Rage and Killer Instinct. There are some games there I've wanted to cover for a while but what can you say? "Primal Rage is a fighting game with dinomonsters and ape-bastards... they shit and piss in each other's face... 6/10." Like seriously, fucking how?

But aside from that, I've also been getting other ideas for October underway (actual Halloween stuff :P) and watching a lot of movies. Got a real craving for Crime/Mystery/Escape Plan type movies, no idea why. Maybe there is some subliminal context there but who knows ahaha! I'm also gunning for the end of October so that I can go to PAX and have a good time off with a change of scenery, it's good for the mind. I also found out the other day, getting ready for Skylanders in November, that Skylanders: Trap Team requires a special fucking portal, a portal not stocked locally and costing amounts more than I really want to pay online so FUCK. No idea what'll happen there but I'm sure I'll figure something out.

Final Stuff) Just to end off, I'd like to thank all of you for a strong first year of Patreon support! Once I've got some time to think, I'm hoping to get some new rewards happening along with maybe another tier, though I'm not sure on that yet. Would people be interested in some Video Commentaries? I think that could be a cool, Patreon exclusive if it's something people want, just myself talking over the videos, explaining some things in greater detail etc. It may not be for every review, just the more interesting ones such as the 5 videos coming up. There is certainly a lot to say. I'm also planning to get a Prototype Podcast... thing up sooner rather than later. One of those a month to talk about things, answer questions from you guys and just have a laugh with is something else on my mind. But regardless of all that, I'd like to get some kind of "Patreon Awareness & Thankyou" type video up on the channel soon too. It's been a year, a long one at that and it really has impacted something on the channel each and every month of that year, so I feel it's only necessary to acknowledge that.
