Some Good News to End the Year! (Blog) (Patreon)

Wow, so the past week has been VERY interesting to say the least. Let's get stuck in!

Patreon FUCKED UP!) First order of business: Patreon's massive blunder that occurred last week saw them make a move to start charging you guys the overhead creators normally pay, in a move to make them more millions of dollars. Apparently as of while I was sleeping, this has been removed from the plan and things are back to normal! I know a lot of you were more than happy to take that hit and I thank you for that but, the entire problem was that we got no say in how things were done and a lot of creators (I was lucky and was not effected at this level) lost a lot of their donators of smaller amounts. I'm honestly just glad that in future, I don't have to promote the Patreon followed up with "by the way, there are also hidden fees out of my control" because that's not very appealing. This change is certainly for the best!

God, V-Rock from GTA: Vice City has some great music!) Now onto the stuff related specifically to this channel (that has nothing to do with that headline ahaha)! We've only got week left of content in 2017. Last week's Do Modern Games Still Suck? Did well, hopefully a video that will have some longevity much like the original Modern Games Suck video from last year. Top 10 Stains w/ Cal this week did about what I would have suspected honestly. For such a niche, odd and informal topic, it was always going to have trouble getting the recognition it deserves but based on the reactions from everyone who has seen it, it was certainly a success! Most people didn't even know what the hell they'd signed up for but regardless of that, reviews of the video have been swell which is always nice to see when you look at the amount of work and planning that went into that!

Today, I'm shooting my final review of the year, the Christmas Special. It's been too hot to sleep (plus now it's raining which will only make things worse) and I'm too excited anyway so running on fumes, it'll be an interesting day to say the least. The video opens with a "one chance" shot so I'm hoping my knack for this shit will payoff once again with this particular stunt.

That pretty much does it for this week guys, the final blog post of the year will go up next week following this Christmas Episode leaving just some outtakes to end the year. I will be streaming for Spyro the Dragon on YouTube this upcoming weekend at the normal times so be sure to come along and say hi! I'll have some important info for you next week on what to keep an eye out for in the New Year and what plans are for the channel and all that good shit. But until then, thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a great fucking day. Cheers guys! :D
