Keen for April... (Blog) (Patreon)

I'm keen for April because I'm sick to death of fucking March, especially this past week.

The Next Review) I don't know what it is with this video, it's just felt cursed from the start. From the costume being a nightmare to get done, the game initially not giving me much to work with and all that's going on behind the scenes, it's probably the least fun I've had making a video in a long time. It requires two days of shooting, the first went very smoothly despite people being in the house, something that normally ALWAYS results in me being unable to film. Despite that, I got the first shoot done, nice and smooth. The second shoot was supposed to happen today, however a few things came up and it's been pushed back until tomorrow. I'm 80% sure I'll be fine to get it done but if I can't shoot tomorrow for whatever reason, I won't make the deadline for upload. Like I said, things should be good and regardless, for all the work that's gone into it, I'd still have the video go up late and miss the mainstream attention deadline. But man that sucks. I pride myself on always being on schedule so that kind of defect really bugs me.

A Short Break) Once the video is done, I'll be taking a break for a week or two. Not entirely though, I'd mainly like to spend the time doing 3 things:
1- Shooting and Editing Testing Episodes
2- Playing some games (for the upcoming series review and just for fun)
3- Doing some more Live Streaming!

Right now, we're playing through Enter the Dragonfly because... I hate myself apparently. I'd like to get into the habit of streaming more casual playthroughs as I'm starting to work out more of the quirks to capturing gameplay simultaneously. I also plan on having a "Making-of" episode based on this next review, just to go into detail with a lot of the challenges and such, in comparison to previous videos with a similar production. So I'd like to think content will still be going up during this brief break but might get a little patchy afterwards as I start to prep for this big series review, hopefully with one or two reviews in-between to hold you over.

Closing Thoughts) I don't really have much to say beyond that, it's just been a bit of a stresser for me lately, especially the past few days getting closer to these deadlines (you'd think I'd have learned my lesson with those bastard things after what happened late last year but... apparently not). So, I'm hoping a quick refresher and getting back to some normal, more formulaic production will help get me back on track with everything going on.
