Well holy shit guys, it's done... it's finally FUCKING DONE!

This episode is hardcore mode down to it's core. Packed full to the brim with everything you love about the show, celebrating it's history and teasing it's future. This is a solid two weeks of work like you wouldn't believe so I hope it lives up to your hype and expectations.

Couple of things:
1- ALL 218 video submissions are included in the outro! That number is scary.

2- This episode has broken multiple records for the series including...

 - Longest Square Eyed Jak Episode (Previous record holder was Crash N. Sane Trilogy at just over 30 minutes)!

- Most "FUCKS" in a single episode (Previous record holder was Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly with a whopping 70. I haven't counted this one yet but I know I surpassed that greatly with the outro)!

3- This was entirely edited in three days. Each day included a long session of special effects before lunch and then smashing out voice over to gameplay afterwards.

There might be some more things but christ, I'm so exhausted from editing. I can't think of them.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know what you thought of the video once you've watched it. I am VERY curious! And by the end of this week, you'll hopefully have SIX MORE EPISODES available for early viewing as Tony Hawktober finally drops! It's an exciting time people, thank you so much for being an important part of it and I hope you have a great fucking day. Cheers guys! :D

Very enjoyable episode but couldn't find myself in it anywhere. I did create a video with the hashtag on it. Perhaps I just missed it.

That was awesome. What an outro. It’s been a long ride Jak, I’m just glad to have been a part of it. I watched the whole video but was giddy to see the end the whole way. Congrats again on 100!

SquareEyedJak

Oh really? I did only use the audio for a couple to transition into the full outro. Did you get a response from me back when you sent it? Maybe there is a chance I never received it as I responded to all of the submissions for confirmation. What name did you use in your submission?

SquareEyedJak

Ok I figured out what happened. Found the submission on your channel. What you also needed to do was send me a link to the video so that I could download it. That saves me chasing up people for their entries. Sorry to say it's a bit late for the video but, I'll download it and it'll be included in a followup showing every single submission in full.

I also meant to say; great green screen work! I was really impressed with how well it turned out.

SquareEyedJak

Cheers! The green screen has kind of been my thing. I could have done this using masks but it's a lot easier how I tend to do it. The only shot that did't work was when I whack Sly Jak with the cane, I plan to talk about that in the making-of Episode! :)

I swear I left a long comment here yesterday and now it's gone. That only took me 20 minutes to write, no biggie Patroen. :(

I did see it via email, thought you had deleted it. I appreciate the honesty, sorry you didn't enjoy it as much. The video wasn't made long on purpose and if you cut out the ending, it's only 28 minutes which is still longer than normal. The problem with games like this is that it can be hard to explain how you actually feel in an entertaining way because there isn't much to work with. That's why the story of the video is both characters having a back and fourth discussion about the topics at hand, which is what mostly contributed to any parts feeling unnecessarily doubled up on. It was legitimately myself trying to figure out where I stood with the game, both from a genuine, real life perspective and the perspective of the characters (who are both versions of myself who played the game at different times). on the topic of gameplay dragging on too long, like the Frisbee and bowling... those clips were no different to the others and if you were instantly sick of looking at them, then that's good. It means I properly conveyed what it feels like to play those missions and the repetitiveness of clips showing up again, was to display how quickly things are run into the ground. Hope that makes sense, and hopefully Hawktober next week is more enjoyable for you! :)
