Hello, hope everyone is doing well. Today I'm looking for FEEDBACK on the Patreon page, among other things, before I get ready to commit to updating various aspects. So please, it would be very much appreciated if I could get your honest opinions and suggestions for improvements. Thanks!

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Patreon Updates) As I've mentioned previously, I'll be looking to introduce a new $2 tier within the next month or so that offers more in-depth discussion into the making of EVERY Square Eyed Jak episode. WHAT WOULD PEOPLE LIKE TO SEE ME DISCUSS???
I will have a free sample/practice post up soon that will hopefully serve as a foundation to work from but before I begin writing that up, what should I include? What would you like to learn about? Be as broad or specific as you like, but remember I'd like to apply the suggestions to ALL Future Reviews, so nothing 'video specific' if that makes sense.

The second thing I'd like some feedback on is the Initial Signup; WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED ABOUT THE PRESENTATION???
Right now, the description on the front page is far too lengthy, it's like a fucking novel so I do plan to shorten that drastically. But I'd like to know honestly, what people would like to see mentioned there and in a video. I'm trying to make the entire thing as digestible as possible, in a way that hopefully encourages people to consider pledging. Right now, I'm seeing a bigger future for the channel through Patreon than I am solely relying on YouTube, so naturally, the goal is to grow this which will ultimately, help to grow the channel with the quality people have come to expect!

I'd also like to know, what could be improved about the 'Thanks Message' you get when you initially pledge? Right now, it's just a quick bit of text simply because, I've got no other idea what I can include there. SO PLEASE, honest feedback and suggestions on all of that would be really appreciated as I'm in real need of a backers perspective when making these changes. Thanks in advance!

Branding Updates Update) Wow, that reads really dumb. Anyway, so far, the cleaning up of the channel has been starting to take shape. Fresh new Outro I showed you last week. THIS WEEK, we've got a NEW INTRO! Now I can't show you all of it just yet, but here is a cheeky preview...

It's the same idea as the old intro, just re-made for the first time since 2015!!! It'll get us through, I'm happy with it. Honestly feels so strange looking at it though, being SO used to the old version. That's actually the reason it's taken so long to update, because anything I tried to do just felt wrong inside. It'll be weird at first but after 1 or 2 reviews, we'll all be numb to it!

The other thing currently in production is a new banner for the channel and all of the other social media pages. Not showing you just yet though, simply because I like to tease! ;)

Live Stream Archive) People always ask where they can watch previous Live Streams and we used to have a place for that. After taking some advice from another YouTuber, that made a lot of sense at the time, I decided to make a second channel and re-upload everything there. In retrospect, all that really did was make a whole lot of extra work downloading... slowly, and then re-uploading... slowly, only to still have people finding the original unlisted version on the main channel. Plus, once I started streaming casually without a schedule, it wasn't very fun to know I'd have that entire process after simply wanting to play a game and talk to you guys. So I've finally fixed that for 2019!

At the bottom of the channel page (where it always was) you can now find a dedicated playlist to all previous live streams. This used to showcase the Second Channel, now it's full of main channel streams meaning the Live Chat playback is available and the process is SO MUCH easier to deal with. Just drop it in the playlist and... done. Like I said, in retrospect, the second channel was a convoluted idea in the first place! The one catch with this method, I will be keeping the Live Streams UNLISTED so that they won't show up in YouTube search results, or clog up the UPLOAD playlist at the top of the page.

Framemeister Update) THE FRAMEMEISTER IS FIXED!!!! The replacement cable arrived and as expected, after working the RGB NES cable, everything is working back the way it should! That's massive, it was honestly a scary time but I'm just relived it's all sorted now. Just in time for Pre-production on that major 6-Part series!

 --------------------------------------------------------------------

Closing Thoughts) Now I was on the fence about making a channel update video to start the year off, because I do hate that type of thing. But given the amount of stuff going on right now, I feel like there is a lot to talk about. A lot of kind of important things people should know, plans for this year's review schedule and how I'm planning to run things in 2019. So expect to see that hopefully next week... we'll see! Along with more Live Streams of course. When the update does go live on the channel, EARLY ACCESS PATRONS should check back here for access to the first video of the year, a Top 10!

So yes, thanks for reading. DON'T FORGET TO LEAVE FEEDBACK in regards to the Patreon Improvements! I'm really looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say. And until next time, I hope you have a great fucking day. Cheers guys! :D

I think in terms of the $1 and $5 tier pages explaining the information, you've pretty much already covered the basics so I don't think much work is needed to condense any more information regarding that. I think the 2nd middle reward tier could include how long it took to do certain aspects such as creating costumes, buying props and writing scripts, the initial thoughts going into the actual project, maybe how you were trying to sell the video to the target audience you are aiming it at and maybe even editing process as well. I am currently studying Creative Media Producition at college and did a radio podcast in terms of engaging an audience about note taking for students so basically I'm just taking notes from that and sharing some knowledge I know from that. Hope that helps at all!

Perhaps re-writing and adding some new goals? I think people who are considering pledging would want to know what you do with the money you make monthly as well as seeing what you plan to do as the amount increases? Might help people who are on the fence if they see definitive and clear goals on how the money will be used.

Good suggestion, I'll be planning to show off how the money has been key to the channel the past 2 years in a video showing EVERYTHING Patreon has allowed me to do. I'll update the goals though to make sure the amounts are accurate to make those rewards possible! :)
