So Many Projects, So Little Time! (Blog) (Patreon)

Not to boast too much... but that estimate back in January that I was starting the year 2 months behind schedule.

Yeah I was pretty fucking spot on with that because I'm STILL at least 1 month behind where I'd like to be! So yeah, that's fun! Anyway, got a bit to discuss this week so give it a read and be sure to let me know if you have any further questions.

Content Timeline) Last weeks timeline is still looking good, which means a new review (Episode 110) will be up next week! Filming it has been a bit stop/start and I've still got a lot of stuff to film yet. But the plus side, with half the video being shot as a gameplay video, I had to edit all that footage in the pre-production writing phase so that technically means... the video is already half edited (roughly at least). So getting it finished shouldn't have any unexpected hiccups! AND for those of you with access to the $2 Tier, you can expect to see a Behind the Scenes post available here when the video goes live to YouTube!

6 Parts of Insanity) The 6 parter... is... nearing... the end... of... PRE-PRODUCTION!!!

ALL 6 videos have been written (thank fuck) which means now, all I need to do is revisions and they'll be ready to film. Since I started writing like 2 months ago, there will be a lot of crazy shit I'm sure to have forgotten I wanted to include. It'll be given the same treatment as Hawktober 2018: only keep what is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for live action. There will still be plenty of it I'm sure, but I'm hoping to drastically remove a lot of pointless cutaways to save production time. So the current goal:

April weekends: Film stuff for the 6-parter
April weekdays: Return to normal production schedule

This will not only help with present content flow, but it also means I can start production on the other massive project I'd like to work on this year. Don't worry, it's a singular video, the 2+ hour long episode I've mentioned previously. I've still got a couple games to beat for that, then I'll begin the writing process!

Other Content) The March podcast has been filmed! Hoping that once Episode 110 is finished, I can have that whipped up ready for next week. Again, I'm sorry these are coming out later in the month instead of the beginning, but shit's been crazy!

GAME TESTING! I'm debating whether or not to keep it going as is, with a new episode every other week until the box is empty (3-4 episodes left) OR, if I just fucking do the last games in a single finale episode, similar to the first shovelware testing back in June of 2018. Let me know what you think of that. And of course, I'm still planning to have a "Greatest Hits" Montage/Compilation video when it's done, featuring the highlights of the series along with a final look at how it went. Going over the various stats, breaking down the ratio of working to non-working games etc. BUT YEAH, please let me know if you think a big finale episode would be good OR just keep going with more episodes. Thanks!

LIVE STREAMS) Alright, I know me mentioning live streams here is essentially code for "they're not happening for a while" BUT... I'm trying to figure it out. Currently in my spare time, I'm replaying Grand Theft Auto IV because I hate myself apparently. Only got 2-3 sessions left to finish the story and as soon as I do, the plan is to FINISH CRASH N-TRANCED finally... then we'll be moving onto Tony Hawk's Underground 2! I need to start getting myself in the mood for those games again so I'll be doing that. I am debating if I play the entire game OR, only play either the story mode or classic goals. Not sure yet, might do both, might not. All depends on what else I'm doing and how long it takes. It's a brief game but guarantee, it'll take twice as long streaming it. No promises it will be both but we'll see I guess.
