Hey, hope everyone is doing well and enjoyed the first episode of the 6-Parter... Ty the Tasmanian Tiger! So excited that this series is finally underway. $2 Behind the Scenes Patrons: There was a glitch with Patreon while I was writing up the blog, should be available by the end of this week. Sorry for the delay! On top of Ty, there is also another video dropping on Friday: The FINALE of the PS2 Shovelware Box! That's already available to Early Access Patrons. Right... let's get into it!

PATREON PODCAST UPDATE: Just some quick news in regards to the podcast moving forward. Cal will no longer be appearing in episodes. This might seem like an out of nowhere thing but I'd have say it's been building up for a while now, we just both feel like doing the podcast has taken a toll on our friendship. Given we're only likely to speak once a month in a call anyway, it honestly got a bit shit for both of us having a "scheduled" relationship for lack of a better term. So this was a mutual decision. We're still friends, nothing has happened so don't get the wrong idea with that. It's just best for both of us that the "work stuff" isn't our only socialization with each other.
So on that note: I'm not entirely sure what the podcast will be moving forward but don't worry, it's not going anywhere. Future episodes might see a mix of different people, me on my own or whatever. We'll have to wait and see! :)

And with that, PLEASE LEAVE SOME QUESTIONS AND DISCUSSION TOPICS FOR THE AUGUST PODCAST below this post!

August Content) It's looking like this month is going to be pretty jam packed! A new Ty Episode each week, Game Testing finale, the next episode of the CTR Grand Prix which is ready for editing. Along with all that, I'm also hoping to get a brief and simple kit list video out, covering all of the equipment, hardware and software I use to make videos, as well as maybe getting into the general process of things. I want to talk about cameras, mics, setup, editing and making logos. That type of stuff. If I can't manage it with everything else going on, hopefully it'll be around in September, but given it should be a relatively easy video to produce, I don't see it being a problem. However, it all depends on Tony Hawktober and the final work to be completed for Ty!

Tony Hawktober Progress) Given the fact that Ty wasn't completed on deadline, unfortunately Hawktober isn't off to the best of starts. 16/17 games are FINISHED which is pretty major. Unfortunately the pre-production process has been incredibly slow so far... as in, I started writing a script last week and still haven't gotten back to finish it yet. Like I said last week though: as long as Ty is completed in the next 2-3 weeks, Hawktober will be cutting it fine, however totally doable!

Live Streams) Now that pretty much all of the Tony Hawk games are finished, I've gained my nights back for some free time to do as I please. Assuming I'm not bogged down with editing or anything like that, I'm hoping to start doing some streams again through August-September. Not sure what I'll be playing but I'd like to get back to playing through some games and recapturing them, to replace my archived files. But I am also looking forward to having some time just for me, be it playing games, watching stuff or drawing!

I've taken quite an interest into drawing as a means of relaxation and coping with video burnout, just as a hobby on the side. I don't plan to become an artist or anything, but I do foresee it becoming an added element to some video projects I'd like to do in the future!

--------------------------------------

Closing Thoughts) So yeah, that's what's up as we enter August 2019. Same shit as every other month so far ahaha, but at least the channel is finally going to see some more consistent content! Don't forget to LEAVE QUESTIONS AND TOPICS for the August Podcast! And until next week, thanks for reading and have a great fucking day. Cheers guys! :)

Do you plan on doing another annual series review when Tony Hawktober is finished?

Jake Ogden

What is your plans for videos, etc..

RadioTails

It looks like we are going to have some great Ty and Tony Hawk content this year. Just try not to get behind too much that Hawktober becomes Hawkmas. XD It's a shame Cal isn't going to be in the podcasts anymore, but from the sounds of it, it's best for both of you. It will be interesting to see who the replacement could be (if there is one). You could do it on your own, but you would have to plan more on what to talk about. I have a lot of Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled questions (you can ignore the last one :P): Question 1: Who is your favorite Nitro Squad character from CTR:NF? Question 2: Since Activision have added micro-transactions to buy Wampa coins in CTR:NF, what are your opinions on this business practice? Question 3: What characters would you like to see playable in CTR:NF (Crash or Spyro universe)? Question 4: Why do you not have CTR:NF on Xbox One? How am I meant to beat you every time at this game? :P

I personally can't wait to see your Behind the Scenes/Production videos. For some reason, looking at those videos always invigorates my creative sparks as a content creator myself, and I want to see what really goes on in your channel. Seriously, you're to me, the Aussie AVGN, though more of a cynical gamer than angry, yet with all the creative ideas.

Glad you like them, that's why I enjoy showing the process myself. If it wasn't for AVGN Behind the Scenes content, I might not have the same spark I have today! :)
