Hello, hope you're all having a good week so far. It's been great seeing the reaction to each new Ty episode, but the fun has only just begun! I just want to go over progress on certain things, as well a somewhat major change I'm considering implementing at some point!

Ty Progress) I've lost the run of myself the past week or so, still being quite productive but everything has been a mess. Through it all, Episode 4 is FULLY FILMED as of yesterday! That's pretty big, all that needs to be done is VO before the editing can commence. Episodes 5 and 6 won't be out until late September, so I'm hoping to have a little breathing room there. Though with that said, I want both of those fully filmed by the end of August.

Seven Weeks Away from Hawktober) So this is where my little world completely falls apart... we're officially at the point in time, where Hawktober needs ALL of my attention! I'm getting worried about it as by the time Episode 4 of Ty is fully finished, it will be only six weeks. Granted, I've done the full special in only 6 weeks previously. In 2018, while I had 8 weeks in total, we still had the Mario Galaxy, PlayStation Move and Episode 100 videos being worked on alongside it, so it's not impossible. It's just going to require some serious crunch, which is the scary part for me. Normally I wouldn't go into it, but let me tell you... I am fucking exhausted right now!

Ty has been in heavy production all year, particularly since April when I started filming. Life has brutal this year and as usual, I've probably bitten off a lot more than is necessary for me to chew.

It doesn't help this year that PAX Australia is a week earlier than last year, which was a week earlier than the previous year. So I basically have NO fallback time into October compared to other years. So yeah, kinda scary. BUT like I said forever ago, you'll soon be able to reflect back onto all of these worry, anxiety driven posts you see here and laugh knowing that it all got done in the end! :D

Upload Schedule Change) So I've been toying with the idea of tweaking the standard upload time for all content moving forward. Currently, these are the set upload times:

Monday 6pm US EST, 11pm UK - Tuesday 8am AEST

It's a pretty good time for the US, which is the channel's primary demographic by a long way. It is ok for Australia though, the time isn't ideal for me anymore. And for the UK audience, it's not good at all. So here is the NEW times I'm considering:

Tuesday 6am US EST, 11am UK, 8pm AEST

For starters, the videos will go up on the same day, regardless of where you are in the world. So when I say Tuesday, people know I actually mean Tuesday. The later time of day gives me some extra breathing room to get things done, as well as allows myself to be more active and present as the video goes live. The PS2 Box Finale for example, scheduled overnight. The video had been demonetized while I was sleeping over night. So uploading 12 hours later would help to prevent things like that/help me get them fixed sooner. The only problem with the new time that I see, is the US audience almost never being there for when the video actually goes live. Considering they're my primary demo (About 40% or so) it's not really ideal.

Despite that, I need some kind of change to try and kick the channel in the guts and get it moving again. And like I mentioned, the 8am time for me just doesn't work anymore and hasn't for a while. Before I fully change things, I'll be trialing the new time with any other content that goes up on the channel, such as this week's CTR Grand Prix video will be tested with the new time, along with anything else. Reviews will probably stick with the old time (as to not mess up the routine for YouTube's algorithm too much) so I wouldn't see any substantial changes or tests coming until AFTER Tony Hawktober!

Closing Thoughts) So that's where we're at right now. I'm interested to hear some feedback on the upload times, along with everything else.
