Strong Hawktober Productivity (Blog) (Patreon)

G'day everyone, hope you're all having an awesome week so far! Just a heads up, I've decided to make this week's blog free to the public to serve as an extension onto the Video Update that went live on the channel today. So let's get into the progress on Hawktober this year!

The First Week of Shooting) Over the past 7 days, I've started slowly but surely filming episodes both at the skate park and at home. Every day has been productive thankfully, some certainly more than others. But my personal life has still been in the way somewhat. The hope last week was that I would have the 6 written videos filmed by the end of this week, of which I have 4 completed. So as you can see, things are on schedule! On top of that, I've also been working through one final game preparing notes, as well as spending a lot of time continuing to write some of the other episodes, which are all coming along nicely so far!

Plans for the Next Week) I'll be continuing to film as much as possible, with those remaining 2 episodes being top priority, then 1 other episode which just needs to be revised ready to film. But it's also very important that I finish writing the finale episode ASAP, as that will absolutely take the longest to shoot and edit BY FAR... you guys have no idea! 😉 Unrelated to Hawktober, I'm also hoping to get the Patreon Exclusive podcast completed within the next week. Really simple, just to get it done so that it can be off of my to-do list. So here is my current to do list:

• Film days 5 and 6 of Hawktober
• Revise day 7 and prepare to film that
• Finish writing the final video of the special
• Complete the last Tony Hawk game ready to script
• Patreon Podcast

For those of you who haven't been keeping up with the weekly updates, this years special is going to be BIG so there is a lot of work to get done in a short amount of time. As I mentioned in the update video, I'm going to Melbourne for PAX AUS in exactly 3 weeks which is fucking mental. But I'm remaining optimistic and the videos this year have been prepared to be as efficient to produce as possible.

The 3 Week Plan) This next week I've already gone into, finishing off the majority of filming and writing. The following week will hopefully be the final writing stage while also shooting AND starting to edit some of the episodes. That leaves the final week, which will have a little bit of filming left to complete, but mostly just slaving away in post-production getting these things done. I DO have a 1 week buffer for the second week of content following PAX AUS, which will give me a little bit of wiggle room. So if I can get week one completed ASAP, then the second week should fall into place quite nicely!

Closing Thoughts) So that is the bulk of it. Definitely busy times (what's new?) but even though I am feeling quite burnt out with everything going, like I've said, I have really been enjoying working on this special and smashing it out. And I'm confident that it will be completed just in the nick of time! And that does it for this week's post. Trying to keep it short because if you couldn't tell...
