Life Update (Blog) (Patreon)

G’day legends, I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe this year! Sorry it’s been so damn long since any kind of update but I’ll get into what’s been happening and what you can expect from me in the coming weeks!

Please drop some questions and topics for the March podcast down below!

Is Jak Dead?) I mentioned in an update several weeks ago that I had a family member who was unwell in hospital and that it was my responsibility to help care for them. So that’s what I’ve been up too for the past couple of weeks. I traveled across the state to help care for them coming out of hospital after some surgery complications. Thankfully now they’re well on the road to recovery and so I’ll be hopefully back to a more normal routine next week!

So what about videos?) Long story short... February is going to be completely void of content sorry people. It’s just too late in the month to be able to get much of anything substantial out. I do have some outtakes from 2020 to upload and I could potentially squeeze out another testing episode. But I really want my full focus on top of actual review episodes right now, whatever they may be. Thankfully I’ve been able to continue getting through a couple games recently for the next ELR episode, however I’ve still got a way to go on that. Hoping to be able to begin the writing process by early March. Other possible episodes... I still have no idea. So I might need to go for something light and easy just to get my head back in the game.

Things to look forward too in 2021) Given I’ve still got a lot on my plate right now, catching up with other personal responsibilities and trying to move again. Things could still be messy for a little while yet. However I’d like to make it super clear for you all some things I’m confident you’re gonna be seeing in your sub feed soon:

• NEW Every Level Ranked (hopefully by April 🤞)
• Crash on the Run review close to launch
• More game testing content
• I would really like to hit another series review, maybe all 4 Medievil games but no promises
• Some fun standalone episodes: reviews, discussions and maybe even shorter lists
• Hawktober later in the year... less episodes but much more interesting games 😉

So as you can see, lot’s on my mind right now. Plenty to talk about! The big hurdle is just getting back on top of my normal structure again and smashing out some classic SEJ type content!

Closing Thoughts) So much happening right now as you can see. Thank you all so SO MUCH for your continued patience through all of this. For what it’s worth, an extended period of time away from constant video production has had a lot of benefits on my mental health, so I’m really keen to jump back into it again!

Don’t forget: drop some questions and topics down below for the March Patreon Podcast! Thanks so much for reading and until next time, I hope you have a great fucking day. Cheers! 👍
