General Life Update (Patreon)

G’day everyone I hope you’re all well.

Hate to have more bad news for you but videos are going to be on hold for the foreseeable future. My living situation just peaked out and I’m officially couch surfing.

In August of last year, I left a really toxic home life and my only option was to sleep on my mothers couch… the problem with that is it’s in an Over 50’s ONLY accomodation. We had clearance from the manager for a mercy period while I tried to find somewhere else to live. Unfortunately that ended last week and the housing market where I am is just impossible. I heard in the news we’ve had the 4th highest price increase IN THE WORLD for housing which is fucking disgusting.

Right now I’m waiting in a bus terminal to go stay with my partner, who is also in the shit. He’s been couch surfing with family too which just isn’t ideal either and our mental health is in the shits. Affordability isn’t even the problem which I’m so thankful for, but property managers just don’t understand my income with YouTube and Patreon, so they get scared and won’t rent to us. Combine that with the competition given the market is so desperate here… we’re out of options.

So the plan: catch our breath for a week and then we’ll be going on a little interstate holiday/house hunt in another state where our chances seem much better at securing a full time residence.

I’m sorry the last 12-18 months have been a total fuckup but hopefully it’s not too long before you see the next video. During this time I will still be trying to write scripts and prepare content. Editing is impossible without a semi-stable accomodation to setup my PC though unfortunately. However in the meantime, the best way to continue supporting me is just REWATCH your favourite episodes! Go through all the old classics, deep dive game testing and hit me up on social media to show me what you’re watching! That’d make my day knowing people are still watching! 😊
