G'day legends, I hope you're all doing well. Huge apologies for the radio silence as of late! I've been in the process of moving interstate if you don't keep up with me on Twitter and it was a HUGE job... but it's done now!

The Latest News) Two weeks ago I officially moved into my new place. The time since has been solely dedicated to buying and building furniture, setting up a game room/work space and just generally running errands and settling in! I've also been sick on and off during a lot of the prior organizing periods which sucks.
The good news is that I'm finally nice and established enough to be able to start dipping my toes into working again! So I just really want to thank all of you for being so incredibly patient with me during this transitional period and for continuing your support here! It's greatly appreciated, you all make my life possible and now that I've got all the opportunity to slay with making new content, hopefully there won't be such large gaps in the year for us anymore! 😁

Current Video Plans) So the first video I have planned is a video all about the move and mostly setting up my work space/game room. It's been such a long time since I've had such a space for myself so I also plan to touch on the human element of my personal identity in that video too. Primarily it will be like some of my older game collecting content, however I'm up for debate on whether I want to release it as an official Square Eyed Jak episode or not. The down to earth, human element is something I've wanted to explore a little more on the channel in recent months. I'm still the same guy but I'd like to reduce the pressure to always be 'in character' for lack of a better term.

As for review content, I've been feeling super inspired lately with a whole variety of ideas and directions that I don't really know where to begin. So in the meantime, expect to see some Game Testing episodes while I figure that out. Before moving interstate, I filmed for a video I'd always wanted to make in my old local retro game store! So I'm planning to feature that and then test the games I picked up that day, just as sort of a goodbye and to finally see an old idea through!

So I don't have dates unfortunately but here is where I'm at content wise:

Now something else I'd like to dip my toes into again is livestreaming. We're still working out some of the flaws in our internet where we live. So far Discord, video streaming and online gaming has been ok but my upload isn't super great so I'm gonna have to attempt some test live streams at some point. NO GARUNTEES!! However I would really REALLY like to be able to stream again after so long! It's always a great time interacting with people and it makes the process of going through games a lot more enjoyable.

Closing Thoughts) I'm going to leave it there for now people. Give me a chance to catch my breath and we'll get back on the content grind. I'm looking forward to exploring many of the new video ideas I've had and I can't wait to see everyone back on the channel each week.
