PROOF I've got a video coming before Chrissy! (Blog) (Patreon)

G'day legends, I hope you've all made it safely to the end of another year. Apologies for the lack of updates here, the year kinda pull out the rug from under me and I've been busy. So please have a read because this will be my final general update of 2022! 😃

-------------------------------------

Video Progress) Ok so since late October, I've been working SUPER hard on a big project I've wanted to do for ages now. Nothing crazy like Ty or Croc but starting a major series I've wanted to cover. The original plan was to cover 3 games all in a single SUPER episode. Playing through the games took a bit out of me ngl so progress was kinda slow. Also had some bad mental health weeks in November (I'm all good, it's more to do with being in a much better place. dumb brain is waiting for the next thing to go wrong ya know) so yeah, I fell a little behind.
I ALSO WENT ON HOLIDAY LAST WEEK so that also impacted workflow!

So the plan now is to scrap the big 3 game compilation episode as there is enough to say for individual episodes on each title. And since the first 2/3's of that big script is already written, it won't take much effort to restructure into individual episodes. BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT I'M WORKING ON ANYMORE!!! 😅

I had a lot on my mind while away for my holiday and so the day I got back, I bit the bullet, struck while the iron was hot and wrote a full script in like 2 hours, captured A BUNCH of gameplay and just yesterday I filmed everything! It's just a quick broad topic video talking about Video Game Crossovers which has been on my mind since Evolution Skateboarding with the Konami properties. So yeah... I wanted one more episode before the year ended so I'll smash this out and it'll be up late next week!

Original End of Year Plans) I had planned a bunch of stuff to end the year off but I've simply run out of time. Good thing is that we're going into January with SO MUCH to do. Reviews, game testing which I wanna do a big episode of. I wanted a holiday buyer's guide for YouTubing equipment going over some of what I use and my journey to reach those results. Thankfully this is something that can work anytime of year. The other plan was to do a more thorough collection tour following up from the Room Building video from earlier in the year. Again thankfully, that can happened whenever so my plan is to just go head down and get these done to start next year off with a nice boost for the channel.

Success, then FLATLINE) The Lost Demonik/Grandma's Boy episode was performing much better than normal in November. Like crazy good for some reason. I'm talking HAWKTOBER good which hey... I ain't complaining. I'm pissed though because suddenly it was struck with an age-restriction. I've tried appealing it and heavily censoring the episode using YouTube's limited editing features. It was still deemed inappropriate so I've UN-censored it. But now due to the restrictions, it's been squashed by the YT algorithm which fucking sucks man. That contributed to taking the wind out of my sails the past few weeks.

-------------------------------------

Closing Thoughts) All in all I'd just like to say that I'm feeling rejuvenated after my week away. Holiday plans are to spend time with my close circle over Christmas and once I get this Crossovers episode done, my reward is gonna be a big open world game. I wanna replay either Spidey PS4 or Horizon 1 on the PS5 as they need a capture upgrade (and my brain needs a refresh) before I dive into Miles and Forbidden West. SO that's the plan! But don't worry, I'm still gonna be chipping away at videos during my normal schedule as I'd love to get a head start on 2023!

Anyway thank you all so much for reading and especially for supporting the channel this year. It's been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling years, not all perfect of course but man... I've just been so fucking happy it's insane. Thankyou! 💜

Enjoy your holidays and have a great fucking day. Cheers guys! 🤙
