G'day champions, I hope everyone is doing well. I've wanted to speak candidly on the channel about mental health for a long time now and never really found the right outlet for it. Lately life has been tricky and so I've been going through my normal routines for when I'm feeling down, which includes playing a variety of games.

So I thought I'd be nice to just cover the 3 main areas I lean towards as a way to try and turn this negative, into a positive. Now that the video is finished, I am actually feeling a bit better so I hope that at the very least, you'll find this interesting or comforting in some way. And I'd love to know some of your go-to depression games! 🙂

Enjoy and have a great fucking day everyone, you deserve it!

Honestly, I think Guitar Hero is probably my biggest comfort game for when I'm feeling down. Nothing cheers me up quite like picking up a plastic guitar and jamming out to some of my favourite songs. Though Coloring Pixels is also a good choice if I want to just chill out for a bit.

Dude this is legitimately one of my favorite videos you’ve made. You actually made my tough day a bit better! I appreciate how candid and open you are about mental health. As for a comfort game, for me it’s Tony Hawk’s Underground; especially the Hawaii level because of how relaxing that little digital slice of paradise is.

Really intresting video i can relate a lot to this topic, my go to has always been Harry potter movies whenever i feel like shit. Up until recently now Hogwarts legacy is my thing for the time being, just being able to walk around and take in the castle as a whole is so amazing. I am praying they dont fuck up the tv series.

This was such a great video that despite it's length feels monumental in the grand scheme of things. You tackled a topic that I'm sure all of us deal with on a daily basis and handled it wonderfully. Feeling down and out happens more often than not with me and I'm glad I'm not alone when it comes to turning to video games as an escape from it. Platformers from my childhood are generally my go to in this scenario but there are games from later gens that I find comfort with as well. Games like Pokemon Channel, Slime Rancher just to name a few.
