Swans 🤍 (Patreon)

This weeks tutorial is this cute pastel sunset swan painting, with two swans creating a love heart with their heads. I love the pastel colour palette of this one, I hope you like it too! I have written all supplies used below:

• Liquitex acrylic paints - titanium white, medium yellow, orange, medium magenta, fluorescent pink, brilliant purple, light blue permanent, prussian blue, red oxide (or any brown), primary red, mars black

  (I also added some light yellow hue to my palette, but I didn't end up using too much, so don't worry if you don't have this colour!)

• Brushes - Large wide, large blending brush (or sponge), small & medium filbert, fan (for the splatters), large pointed, small pointed (for the details)

• I used a 12" x 12" canvas

I used two different reference photos for this painting, reference-1 is for the outline/composition, and reference-2 is for the colours/highlights/shadows etc. I have also uploaded the line drawing as well as the finished painting, so you can choose which you prefer to work from :)
