Bubbles 🫧 (Patreon)

This is a really simple and fun technique to paint bubbles! Perfect for creating magical and ethereal looking paintings as well as adding to backgrounds and underwater themed paintings.

Supplies used:

• Liquitex acrylic paints - titanium white, ultramarine blue, light blue permanent, brilliant purple, medium magenta, bright green aqua, cadmium yellow medium

• Circular objects e.g. jars, paint tube lids, pen lids etc. (to create the circles)

• Brushes - large wide flat (background), large blender brush or sponge (blending the background), fan brush (splatters), medium and small filbert brushes (bubbles)

• I worked in my sketchbook, but this technique will work on canvas and other surfaces too.
