Red Cardinal 🎨 (Patreon)

Another one of your wonderful suggestions - a red cardinal!

Birds are one of my favourite types of animals to paint, and their natural colours are so bright! I hope you enjoy painting this one.

Supplies used:

• Liquitex acrylic paints - hookers green, lime green, phthalo green, yellow oxide, pyrolle red, primary red, cadmium orange, cadmium yellow medium, titanium white, mars black, burnt umber, red oxide, brilliant blue

• Paintbrushes - large wide flat (background), medium and small filbert (feathers and beak), small pointed (eye)

• I used an 8"x8" canvas, but any size will work!

• Reference image and line drawing attached.
