Stag 🦌 (Patreon)

I've had a few requests for stag/deer tutorials so I thought now would be the perfect time to create one! This colourful stag was so much fun to paint and I hope you enjoy it too 🎨

Supplies used:

• Liquitex acrylic paints: turquoise blue, bright green aqua, prussian blue, titanium white, cadmium yellow medium, primary yellow, cadmium orange, medium magenta, fluorescent pink, quinacridone magenta, brilliant purple, deep violet, light blue permanent, primary blue

  (Don't worry if you don't have these exact colours, anything similar will work)

• Paintbrushes - Large wide flat (background), fan (splatters), small/medium filbert (stag), small pointed (eyes and details)

• I used an 8"x8" canvas, but any size will work!

• Reference image and line drawings are attached to this post
