As requested, a colourful elephant painting! Always such a beautiful animal to paint ❤️

Supplies used:

  • Liquitex acrylic paints - titanium white, bright aqua green, phthalo blue, prussian blue, primary yellow, cadmium orange, medium magenta, fluorescent pink, quinacridone magenta, brilliant purple, deep violet

  • Paintbrushes - large and medium filbert, fan (splatters), small pointed (eye, tusks and details)

  • I painted this on an 8"x8" canvas, but any size will work - if your canvas is larger you may need larger brushes

  • Line drawings attached to this post

  • I also used some scrap paper to cover the elephant section while splattering paint

Hi! This is maybe my second video that I’ve tried and I’ve noticed that from 45 min-53 min (haven’t gone further yet), the narration of what color to use and where and what to do almost completely stops. As a newbie I relish learning all the little things that might be second nature to an artist so wondering if you’d consider continuing to narrate how to “clean up” paintings like you mentioned you were doing in this section because I don’t know how to do that just yet. Thank you!
