Sunflowers 🌻 (Patreon)

Another lovely request was a tutorial for sunflowers! This is a simple, fun painting that doesn’t take too long, so it’s perfect for practicing your painting skills. Painting flowers is really fun on its own, but they also work beautifully in other paintings, like animals, landscapes, and more, so they’re a great subject to learn 🌻

Supplies used:

• Liquitex acrylic paints - titanium white, hookers green, yellow oxide, pyrolle red, phthalo blue, burnt umber, cadmium orange, primary yellow, mars black

• Paintbrushes - small filbert, small pointed

• I painted this in my 8"x8" sketchbook. This will also work perfectly on canvas! Any size will work, you may need to adjust the paintbrush sizes if you are working larger/smaller
