Stag Second Layer (Stag Part 3) (Patreon)

This is the final video in the stag painting series and I show you how I painted the second layer and how I added the finishing touches. 

Materials used:

- Liquitex acrylic paints (titanium white, medium yellow, yellow light hansa, medium magenta, quinacridone magenta, brilliant purple, deep violet, prussian blue, light blue permanent)

- Liquitex glazing medium

I used the glazing medium to create the misty effect at the bottom of the canvas. To do this, I mixed some blue and purple paint with a the glazing medium (about a 50:50 ratio) and then I used a large round paintbrush in circular motions over the top of the bottom section of the stag. There should be enough glazing medium that the paint is transparent, but not too much otherwise you wont see the difference.
