So it took me a few days to actually think of how to show the Unika stuff I saw from EVO Japan, but there IS a method!

That being said, I want to share the summary of things I found/tested at EVO Japan.

1) Unika is slightly faster than Sol, with a heavy jump like Giovanna's. Heavy as in, she falls fast and her jump is not that high. This is good since you want have a lot of time to see her in the air, but it's bad in that she isn't high or floaty, so she won't be too tricky with air movement.

2) Standout buttons from first glance include

-Her 5K, which is like Johnny/Slayer/Elphelt/Ram/Etc. Basically big and easy to use. Her sweep never whiffs by the way.

-Her 2S, which is like Happy Chaos. If she was faster this move would be broken.

-Her 2H, which is like Ky's. Depending on what people develop with her, this could be a strong anti fuzzy jump tool, or something to force mixups from air block.

-Her JS, which is like Ky's. I'm unsure if it's disjoint, but its big, like her fS/2S etc.

-Her JH, which is like Ky or Gio. It hits really deep too.

-Her JD is standout in that it's straight up a fireball.

3) Special moves.

-She has a full screen projectile, a DP, and a low slide.

-She can power these up with 6H (it does nothing if you don't do a special move, I think). 6H is fast, so it's important in combos.

-The only combo I got was mashing stuff into 6H into powered up slide (hard kd).

-She can use her powered up fireball as a gc on kd to strike throw, but there's probably way more mix than that.

4) Follow up normals.

-She can follow up fS/2S/5H/2H. IIRC there was standing and crouching variants. That makes confirms seem like they will be really easy. The main thing here for Baiken players is there wasn't really delay cancel options (think Bridget 5HH).

The main reason they didn't allow me to record was because of anime spoilers. One of her supers is, well... you'll see when the trailer drops or when she comes out, haha. There is a clean hit(?) variant on it, but I couldn't tell if I was hitting it since I was just trying to mash the follow up. Notable is that the follow up was free (as in, you don't need 100 meter for it).

That's all about Unika. I'm coming back to the US next week, and lord Chad is working on a terrible moves collab, which I'll post here first. As always, thanks for the support!
