Hey Patrons, here's our 40+ minute follow-up to #14. Memoirs of an Invisible Man. On this ep, we talk a little bit more in-depth about The Thing & Prince of Darkness, which leads to our lengthy conversation on Carpenter's In the Mouth of Madness.  We also get into some of the sequels and remakes of other Carpenter movies as well as the underrated Body Bags movie he made for ShowTime in the 90's.

As always, thanks for the support! We love to hear your feedback too! Feel free to get in touch here or via email.

Protip, don't read all of Lovecraft's stuff, a lot of it is really racist, and it's not like, "Oh it was the 1910s and that was normal" no he was a notable racist back then

I feel like there could be a video on just Hal Needham's career before and after Smokey and the Bandit, the dude was everywhere before the film because he was a stunt coordinator, and after the film, he was the director for most Burt Renyolds film that gets suggested for this show

Oh you will love Wes Craven's Shocker, it's not a good horror film, but my god it's funny

I will defend the first half of the Rob Zombie Halloween movie because I see so many people who complain the characters are unbearable and assholes, and that is the point, you actually want these people to die and it does explain Michael sure, but it's better than what any Halloween film after 4 does, according to 5 or 6 Michael was apart of this cult and he has some powers and he needs the blood of a female family member and blah blah blah whatever happen to some evil piece of shit kid who was sent to a nuthouse and escape to kill people because he's evil, and the Rob Zombie films did that well I say, sure 2 is a little dumb, but I always imagine it as this is what Michael sees. it's all in his head, it doesn't justify his actions, it's what he does to justify it to himself

The only times I've liked the movie more than the book is: The Shining, Clockwork Orange, and 2001...so I don't know if it's just that I'm on Kurik's dick or what but they are so far beyond better than the books that it never fails to shock me. Lolita thought definitely not. Though I do think he did well for an unfilmable book.

Another one I want to add if you will count comics and tv show, The Boys, oh my god the show is way better than the book, like what Ryan said, the book did the opposite of that, the was just made so we can see Captain America piss himself and get his nose bite off
