No Chapter this Friday (Patreon)

Hey everybody, this is just the separate post, detailing that there will be no post on Friday, January the 28th, just to give myself a small break, and finish up some Volume 1 related stuff.

I apologise for not giving a full weeks warning on this like I normally do!

Dude, three posts a week (especially at the quality you consistently keep reaching) is an absolute wonder, all on its own. It's a little disappointing to miss out on an update like this, but nobody can say that you haven't earned it twice over.

It's typically Mon-Wed-Fri. With some variation, depending on how Casual feels about the chapter.

Volume One is going to be an instant buy. Just point us in the direction. Definitely one of my favorite series right now. Relaxed enough that it doesn't trigger my anxiety but tense/real enough that it isn't just a wish fulfilment "I wave my hand and infinite good things happened and everything is smiles (and would you look at the size of my harem)" type of story.

Not naysaying or arguing, but people seem to forget the quality of Beware of Chicken is significantly higher than most web novels. Even ones that release once a month.

Take your time, you do good work. Sometimes it's worth it to take a break. As long as your name isn't George, his breaks are impressively long in a bad way. :)

Enjoy the break, and don't burn out. You may want to reduce the number of updates per week, for instance going to a Tuesday, Friday update schedule.

So I just started a re-read from the beginning, and I have a question- what ever happened with the mystery root from chapter 1? It was repotted in ch 2, and researched in 5 and 6, but if it was ever mentioned after that I missed it.

Last mention was in v2c25 Plants and Clothes Meimei and Xiulan took a look. The root was getting better and was replanted since it was making Meimei sneeze.
