Tristan has seemed different lately, and you decide to visit him at his workplace to find out why.

The awaited next episode is here! This story has a multitude of roads for me to explore and experiment with, and honestly, I'm not sure how I want this to end. Currently, the characters are truly driving this, and depending on what decision they make, I only write the outcome of it.

This can sometimes happen: I have a vague initial idea and an ending, but as I learn more about the characters, they don't seem to do what I expect, so inevitably, the story beats change. Still, it's interesting for me to make Tristan because he's so grounded in reality. I've found that the more realistic characters/Listeners are, the more divisive the story!

With that said, I hope you enjoy listening!

Note: I had a cold while recording, so Tristan also has a cold, hue.

Me like 👍. I think everyone’s still thinking about approaching or finding a way to ‘fix’ the situation wrongly but at least they’re trying (kinda) Tristan and Gumby seriously needs to consider setting some boundaries. Anslie: i understand why she would think those things about the 2. She also needs to set some boundaries with her friends too. Her friends needs to learn to STFU. Anyways. I have more to say but can’t think of a way to say it. I like this tho. Great work Saku🤍

Confessions mean nothing. Especially if years have passed. I am speaking from experience since it has happened twice and I’m still good friends with them. Her saying she could have cheated in Greece would have made me end it. I can’t be with a person who thinks I’m cheating, if the trust is gone then it’s over. If I was willing to take a loan out for someone and they don’t trust me I think I would loose it. And I’m not even married or engaged to them? Idk why but this part is the part I can’t wrap my head around. Canceling plans when we already made them and it’s non refundable would upset me. I have a rule that whoever “claims” my days off first gets them and I can’t change plans unless it’s urgent/birthday. If one person keeps claiming every single free day then it’s time for boundaries. I think Tristan needs to learn to value himself more. He’s sounds like people pleaser and thats not healthy.

I’m getting the terrible vibe that Ansley is so stuck on the idea that Tristan is going to cheat on her with Gumpy because she’s already cheated on him… there’s such a pattern of people who have cheated accusing their partner of cheating because they’re paranoid they secretly know. I love my sweet boy Tristan but reliving the drama of having friends with less than great partners is ROUGH, but I will ALWAYS be tuning in 🙂‍↕️

Well, it's good that he told his girlfriend and that Gumpy apologized, but it sucks that he's essentially getting punished for no reason. On one hand, I get Anslie. She most likely already had suspicions when entering into a relationship with Tristan given how close he is with Gumpy, but she most likely kept it to herself to not stir the pot and make a big deal out of nothing. She probably thought the friendship would just naturally dissolve overtime or that she would get over her jealous feelings or that it simply wouldn't be much of a problem. However, it might've been hard for her to deny her suspicions especially since her friends were also drawing the same conclusions. It gives credence that maybe she had a reason to doubt her partner if other people are also noticing how he treats Gumpy. And then on top of all that, her suspicion is moderately confirmed when she's informed that Gumpy kissed Tristan, regardless of the circumstance. BUT in the same way, she can't expect Tristan to just stop being friends with Gumpy just because she's jealous. It's very much giving a paranoid, controlling girlfriend. It's unfair to Tristan who really hasn't done anything wrong, hasn't questioned her in her dubious actions with her friends or who she hangs out with. They really just need to talk about how Tristan feels like she's being controlling. He can only appease her up to a certain point; after that it'll just feel soul-sucking. And honestly, it might not be the best idea, but maybe Anslie and Gumpy need to talk as well. It may not be that productive, but at least they tried, and Anslie really only has a problem with Gumpy, not really Tristan anyway, so a confrontation is in order. I also refuse to believe that Anslie is just some mean girl who's just jealous that Tristan has a close relationship with Gumpy. I feel like there's more to it than that...🤔

low-key... I love how complex he is. First off, Tristan is in an abusive relationship...*emotionally* abusive. Tristan wanting to be there for Gumpy but also wanting to please his girlfriend is such an ick to me. No matter how hard he wants to convince her that nothing is going on is soooo draining. If I knew this man irl I would've dropped him, I won't even lie. Especially when he and Gumpy never officially dated, and it was a one sided confession. IF Tristan isn't over Gumpy in a romantic way, he shouldn't be dating in he first place. Unfortunately, I have a hot take, fight me on this, he needs to grow a backbone. He needs to understand that there is no such thing as choosing one over the other if you love them both. When Gumpy is wrong, they're wrong. When they aren't, they aren't and vise versa. HOWEVER, IF Gumpy was being abusive that'll be the time to speak up about it, and let it be known to Tristan that he shouldn't be around them. Imo, Tristan needs to get used to being single. But also, imo, he's a loser. But another thing, he's still cute so...
