~Nearing The End of the Year Thoughts~ (Patreon)

Now that I'm off work for the week, I've been thinking about the channel and my audios. I'm so incredibly thankful to all of you, both old and new listeners, who continue to support what I do and allow me to dive deeper into this craft.

It's not a medium I ever saw myself doing, but five years later, I'm still thinking of ideas and ways to make each audio better than the last. I've learnt so much, and I'm eager to improve even more as I experiment with different formats/stories. I listen back to the first audios I made in 2020 and it blows my mind how far I've come.

I've had a couple deep losses this year, but I've also gained more clarity in life that I can take with me through to next year. With a lot of help, I finished a website, published a merch store, and I want to achieve even more in 2026.

There was a point where I thought about quitting because I can only do so many voices, but you've all convinced me that it's not the main reason you stick around. The most exciting part for me isn't making the content, it's reading your comments and reactions. Everything becomes worth it. I always want to provide something new for you to experience—or at the very least, different—but I think I'll be moving forward with less anxiety about that. I've even thought about writing more lore for the Saquverse, for example, a book version of The Noble Trials, but I might be getting ahead of myself there, haha. There are so many avenues I could take, but doing more will inevitably take time away from audios, so I'll need to think carefully about that.

In 2026, due to the community liking Matthew and Clyde, I'll likely be returning to my roots and making way more solo stories. And if they have the same voice/accent as another character I've created, then so be it. I hope the story and the character themselves will be enough for you to enjoy the audios I make in future.

I'll be returning to work next Monday (which will also be my next post for the Weekly Work), and I can't wait to start 2026 strong.
