Oh hey, the closest I'll ever get to a self-insert with these. Damien!

Damien, the University of Sunset City's alumnus. An enthusiastic tinkerer who is always happy to lend a helping hand with any tech-related kerfuffle you might find yourself in the middle of. With a healthy dose of sass, the young man provides invaluable support as your very own "guy in the chair", preferring to solve problems with his wits rather than brawn.

The manx hails from the shaky orphanage at the edge of town, the one currently boarded up tight. Taking the challenges the life posed before him in stride, Damien had to tirelessly work for everything he has in the here and now. Studying tirelessly, he found himself deeply fascinated for technology, said fascination determining his life's goal of aiding the disadvantaged through his inventive knack, exposing fraud and deception.

Damien has met Audrey in the year of his graduation. Quickly growing to be good friends, they've kept in touch ever since, sharing their self-admittedly nerdy interests and the fondness for diligent work. Begrudgingly, he's even grown accustomed to helping the otter with her snooping habits, saving the would-be damsel-in-distress from a snag or two.

Helping folks out from behind his computer, however, is not as foolproof an endeavour as it might seem! With certain ill-wishers growing more and more eager to show this wimpy "hacker" the ropes~

Damien is straight, but a big ally nonetheless;

The manx's an introvert, but not a shut-in;

His diet is a terrifying mess of energy drinks and protein bars;

On the left eye the cat has four prominent scars, he elects to hide them as to not appear intimidating;

He refuses to acknowledge his "I <3 IT" shirt may at all be misinterpreted;

Is very much not fond of G.U.N., believing the organisation to be vastly overstepping boundaries;

Despite mainly working with tech at home, has a hefty degree in street-smarts.

This fella has singlehandedly been the character I've struggled most with design wise. I went through so many iterationg before finally nailing down something I'm happy with it's almost unbelievable. Hilariously, the aspect I apparently refused to at all budge about is the shirt and its print. I think that ended up being for the better, ultimately.

This about rounds out the core cast at the heart of the story. Next up, we'll be going through their support network with a certain otter of a mother 👀
